I'm a Hibs fan, and in the late 70's and all though the 80's I used to travel to every away match. Firhill was always one of my favourite grounds. Great traditional stadium right in the heart of Glasgow. Thistle have had some right good players over the years.

What a place, used to be up in the shed with the Firhill Shed Boys, later to be the NGE

Good to se the old format, being going there for 57 years, but its now a stadium to be proud of, rembering that the toilets were a wall behind the shed. It will be good to see the proposed small stand finally built, and why not call it The
Twenty one- Seventy one after our cup wins

Looked a fine old stadium...but clearly way too big for Thistle.

I'm sure the crowd st the 1988 cup tie against Celtic was over 24000 Archie McLean from Dunbeg near Oban was Thistles goalkeeper that day
I also attended a 1_1draw in 1980 again against Celtic Jim Melrose equaliser for Thistle in the last minute.
The crowd was well over 20000.
Two world cup goalkeepers that day Alan Rough and Pat Bonnar

Sorry Thistle have a decent.support particularly away.
Queens Parks figures 1200 plus in the away end when Thisle visited this month.
I rather imagine Livingston Ross County and St Mirren struggle to.take that to away games .
Last home game not on season ticket book 3650 plus kids go free that's several hundred more.
Not a bad gate for Scotlands second tier
