It was a good performance of the Rocoto but the technique on the Chiliad was also extremely great. Doing a good lines, keeping up the momentum… it was definitely fantastic
This had such a nice "lo-fi" vibes to it with the rain, the night, the city lights and the lonely ride through the highway, just to finish it off with a beautiful morning. Loved it!
Watching Broughy peacefully glide along the highway in a slow Rocoto, yet with a commanding 2 minute lead in the rainy night on backwards GFRED easily made for the most surreal GFRED experience to date.
For once in a rainy GFRED I do the smart play on the OG line with a sports car and it got me Second. Could've been a win if Broughy didn't make it up Chiliad with the Rocoto. I'll take second though, it's a good result for me. GG's to Broughy on the commanding win and GG's to XDW on third.
I think this was the greatest experience I’ve had in a gfred. A great challenge where it felt like it was your own skill that definitely determined the result, and not just getting lucky with the cars. Of course that was still there, but this felt more like a real race, and an adventure too:) Cheers to this race👍🏼 And GG Bruff❤️🤘🏼
What a Gfred... usually I'm screaming at my screen when he changes the car for a third time or ripping out my hair for him being thrown out of cars for the second time (like he never played GTA before) - this one smooth sailing into the finish line, even made a very good call on skipping the airport jump (even though I think he could have easily made it).. GG
What a vibe. The foggy rainy night race that concludes with approaching a lighthouse to the backdrop of a pink morning sunrise for the man in 1st to finish with a 2 minute lead. I think you're going to have to buy a black Rocoto after this and change the plate to 123DERFG. Then park it where that FiveM Vacca was originally supposed to be LOL
Always loved the Ricotto ever since that single player side mission where it gets stolen. Definitely an OG favorite. The front end even looks like it's SMILING at you! 😁
Excellent combination of pure skill by Broughy and a stand out performance by the Rocoto which did a phenomenal job. Deserved win for sure and nice that you paid your respect to the brave little SUV

I've watched 227+ Gfreds in the last few months...did my first ever "hotlap" today, just over 32 minutes. Am level 5 on GTA5 PS4 so still learning the controls etc :-)
Rocotto is a Brilliant peice of engineering proven here, what a superb car handled everything you threw it at well some say Broughy rescued that Rocotto and took it to LSC modded it and now uses it every day

the Rocoto was the first car in my garage in GTA online back in 2013, when you could only find it in traffic, and I didnt realize it was a rare find aswell, still one of my favorites to this day. what a maschine
I might be wrong, but what I took from that is getting an unbanned good enough 4x4 at the start is maybe even a bigger advantage than getting a 9f in a regular gfred. Mostly because chilliad is so close to the start, but also because there are little in the way of choking points before it... like, in a regular gfred the 9f guy could blow up at the airport jump, or mess something up during the long drive. That said it also takes skill to drive up chilliad on a decent 4x4 in the rain, so maybe broughy just made it look easier than it is. GG
How the hell, did Brough get through the city with absolutely anyone following. This race was crazy. But, I can't complain, we follow Brough to win and we got it. Like really got it this time
Well, seems like you need to buy yourself a Rocoto and give it a place of honor in one of your garages. Might be a perfect vehicle for this specific challenge; AWD, low center of gravity, but not enough power to get you into trouble- it's slow enough that you're not overshooting jumps and turns and forces you to drive carefully and meticulously.
GFRED SUMMARY SERIES Gfred #223: DerfG - A Spicy Risk . . . . SPOILER ALERT After a Rally race, it has been decided that the Variant for Xbox will be DerfG since there aren’t many on Xbox. Then Broughy get a Buzzard for his free parachute, whilst killing XDW with the propeller. Phil said “We could make it Kick Fred - give me a list of names and I roll the dice every minute” in a Russian Roulette fashion. People generally don’t like DeathFred so that one is out, so does Slipstream or Catchup. Plus, it’s been like three months since the last DerfG. Hammer asked Broughy to check the prediction, where it’s all in reverse. Monkey Handbags subscribed “fredFred” And after various weather conditions, Broughy decided to do DerfG in full rain. Thunder is too obnoxiously loud for Broughy however. Mastah said “Just mute the game, fivehead.” The Sadnesses reminded him that the Rain Rules, 9F, Infernus, Sultan, and Baller are banned. But yeah, it was crazy to think that DerfG has exist for so long yet it’s never been done in the rain. Broughy of course resurfaced again on top of swerving too much to the left. Broughy got confusion of the Dad Joke about thanking someone for their Sentiment. He missed a Picador, but he found a Rocoto behind a Flatbed, which is pretty good. And the race is in night too which makes up for some challenge. He saw some people (Mopar and Verdilith) got a good idea to swim further past the Bridge to avoid traffic, as they’re in the top two now. Now he wonders if he should keep the Rocoto to Chiliad. Then he remembered that he DID make DerfG in the Rain because he wanted people to make decision between OG and Hotlap, or is it DerfGfred? So now it’s gonna be put to the test. But it seems that Rocoto couldn’t, almost everything couldn’t. Then he nudges a Gresley on the Observatory whilst deciding that he will risk Hotlap. Although, Rocoto is the next best AWD Option after Baller is banned actually. Broughy might have to bail out early on the climb however, or even the West Trail. The Climb is dark and stingy. He had to bail in the end, but it’s surprisingly close to the Top. It deserved all GG and Love in the Chat. And even the Summit Checkpoint is beautiful. Now he wondered why did he get into that Buzzard since Parachute is not needed anyway. Cygnus said “Where we're going, we don't need lights” as Broughy spotted so many people are struggling up Chiliad. DerfG in the rain is a good challenge since chances to get better cars before Chiliad is a lot harder due to it being earlier in the race. As the Train is spotted, people are seen immediately go for the Western Trails. Irz seems blew up to their death while Broughy thinks those who take the OG may do well if this many people struggled in the West. This race is pretty much unprecedented, and people still haven’t reached the Summit yet. Not to mention the weather gone foggy now. This is perhaps the first time someone, let alone Broughy, be this dominant in a Gfred including its variants. Finally, XDW is shown to be 2:50 behind Broughy at Chiliad. Broughy won’t do Airport Jump because he wanted to keep this Rocoto mint, and it might not make it anyway. The Clobo subscribed “Who are you, and what have you done with Broughy?” Now he has no idea what to say, and rain at night is already rare on itself. The Jump gives him too much flashback from the FiveM race two weeks ago. And yes, night rain looks amazing, and the Rocoto do the dismount beautifully. Hard White said “You can explode 10 times and they still won't catch up lmao” which is wrong especially if the cause is Broughy failing the Airport Jump. Broughy doesn’t even remember when he used a Rocoto last time, let alone all the way (The answer it, he NEVER Took any Rocoto in the entire Main Channel Series on Gfred) Now the table is turned, he saw people coming to the Airport as he passed them at the Hospital. Though maybe he realized that he should have switched cars around Senora Road at most, but the Rocoto deserves the respect to be kept. And the Field Spread is still huge. Espanyol said “I'm still trying to get up Chilliad” Then of course Broughy rammed into the Train Track to enter the Quarry, and the gap is only 2:11 away, and it’s probably for chickening out from the Airport Jump. And poor Espanyol said “And back at the observatory...” But he feels like he rarely did a Gfred in a slow car all the way through. This race is just not making any sense, and of course he hit a rock in Grapeseed and flips out completely. Mission to keep the car mint failed. Now the Cloudy Sunrise greeted Broughy at the Lighthouse, and he thanked the Rocoto as he started swimming. And he somehow walked on all of the rocks. He lost another 9 seconds by the Quarry, and Broughy won in one of the most dominant way possible, Sarah/Serenniel would be so proud. The Rocoto absolutely smashed this race, wasn’t even a contest. The Love and the GGs should be for the car, not for Broughy. And don’t worry, he already bought a Rocoto in his garage. Meanwhile, there’s still quite a few people ON Chiliad. Verdilith, XDW, and Mastah took the Top Four. This is one very unique Gfred indeed. Broughy is 1:49 ahead of Verdilith in the end, only losing 1:10 from Chiliad for using the Rocoto. The Rain just throws off so many people especially in handling Chiliad in the best way possible. If he wanted the quickest time possible, the right call would be to take a Coquette back in Senora Road. Verdilith donated “I took the Serrano at the Observatory and took the OG line. I was thinking "This is a mistake." But it got me 2nd.” Verdilith may actually win if not for Broughy’s Rocoto. RCD said “I'll take 5th with no swim suit and a respawn at start plus OG line”, so does Evinco. Broughy thinks XDW and Mastah took Hotlap. So the Top Six are split between Hotlap and OG. It really is a decision to be made. Hammer said “Title for the Vid: HeRo-coto” Hammer said “But as we all know... He uses keyboard and mouse on console... MODDER” Mastah said “Suffice to say F620 isn't the best also when it comes to climbing slippery slopes” Casual Muff said “20 minutes til Lewis and Max collide” Irz finally reached the Summit while Espanyol is still stuck. Flaming said “Guess you could call it Nonchalant Dominance” Now he lets people to press !Play for Marbles, with only 12 people finished. This may be one of the longest regular Gfred-length, with 12th being 9 minutes behind first. At least people will now the risk next time. Irz said “That first explosion you heard was me. After that, utter disastrous Derfg. GG on the win!”
Actually would a parachute be faster than swimming if you swooped the pier checkpoint? Like if you got air before the bridge, after getting off the highway, or go straight off the top of the quarry. Parachute to the left of the lighthouse, swoop the checkpoint, and hold back across some of the water. How high is the checkpoint? Hmmm

Actually would a parachute be faster than swimming if you swooped the pier checkpoint? Like if you got air before the bridge, after getting off the highway, or go straight off the top of the quarry. Parachute to the left of the lighthouse, swoop the checkpoint, and hold back across some of the water. How high is the checkpoint? Hmmm
