    Hi everyone!
    Thanks for all of the recent support on this video, the reaction has been insane.
    This video only shows my current PC record time - I also hold the world records for the other platforms (PS5/PS4/XSX/XB1). The PS5 and PS4 records in particular are slightly more optimised than this PC run, with better luck and full sends down Chilliad, instead of the scruffy half send in this PC run (though the consoles run slightly slower than PC, hence they aren't sub-16).
    If you want to see those, check out the GTA 5 Gfred WRs & PBs playlist on my channel, linked here: ruclips.net/p/PLp-BLvWfYfNo3ptAI-5-uyEq4p8VzfeAo
    Additionally, I recently put together my first commentary video talking through the journey of taking all of the records. It's probably the best video I've produced in my short time on RUclips.
    If you're interested in watching that, here is the link: ruclips.net/video/890cJXgRQ_8/видео.html&si=djkxTHPUBmPBc9iv
    Thanks again for the support and make sure to subscribe if you're interested in watching more regular Gfred content!

    To be faster than this, at the highway the npc with the 9f would have to come at you in reverse with the doors open and shove you in the car 😂

    Wow.
    Thats about as close to perfection as it gets. Being mega critical, you could say maybe 3 seconds left on the table ?
    The train stopping you getting back on the tracks early, the npc car after Observatory are the only stand outs. I dont think the Chilliad incident cost much either.
    That was definately a 98% perfect run, gonna take something spectacular to top that. GG

    • @rbs95
      @rbs95  Год назад +2

      I see about 10 seconds. 3-4 seconds from better traffic spawns after the observatory not slowing me down, and another 5 or so seconds from doing a clean full send instead of the scruffy half send in this run (see my current PS5 and PS4 records for examples of a clean full send). The thing is though, that 9F spawn at the start was so perfect that it saved me multiple seconds compared to a more "normal" 9F spawn by itself, where you'd normally need to run down the highway for a few seconds to get one. If I could get the same spawn and have a perfect run after that, I'd say a 15:45-15:50 is doable.

      @@rbs95 If i may ask, what do you think was the main reason for you to manage that time? Other than the consistent driving and great decision making, do you think that in order to get these times you need a let's call it "lucky" thing to happen like getting a fast car right of the bat, or hitting a tree, or something? or is it the sum of tiny good decisions, like hitting just the right line on the swiming section, or avoiding the bushes in other sections and what not. I remember when the hail mary line was discovered and sereniel got the 18 min WR it was unthinkable that someone could do it faster, and they got an infernus in the highway! lol Whats your take on how you managed to shove 2+ minutes of that WR. Sorry for the long comment.

    • @rbs95
      @rbs95  Год назад +1

      @@juandavidbitar4993 The main lucky moment you need to get a time like this is a very early 9F spawn at the highway. That makes or breaks the run, so when going for record runs I'll just restart if I don't get an early 9F.
      Aside from that, it's almost entirely clean, fast driving, hitting brake boosts and taking the right lines. You obviously need a bit of luck in terms of traffic spawns being good so they don't get in your way. In many places you can drive around bad traffic spawns and not lose time, but there are a few places where if the game spawns a traffic car it will be in your way and there's not a whole lot you can do about it (look at the traffic spawns after the observatory in this run, for example).
      I assume you have come here from Brough's shoutout of my records in his latest video? If so, you might find the other video of mine he linked interesting, where I actually talk through the runs. This run still isn't perfect - there's at least a few seconds in better traffic spawns after the observatory, and another few seconds in doing a full send down chiliad instead of the slightly scruffy half send ruclips.net/video/890cJXgRQ_8/видео.html

    Great run, so nice to see the clean ultimate version of all the lines, boosts, and jumps. Or are they on par, or is the 9f even preferable?

    • @rbs95
      @rbs95  Год назад +2

      Thank you!! 9F is preferable in terms of pure speed. The infernus is nicer to drive and handles most of the transitions much nicer, but it has a slightly slower top speed and doesn't brake boost as well, which means it loses out quite a lot in the first half of the run.

    So you're basically starting gfreds, doing the run/swim, if no 9f or infernus on the highway straight away, then start again? rather you than me, broughy would have to be offering some kind of insane first prize for me to be sitting there doing that shit

    • @rbs95

      @rbs95  Год назад +1

      @@ice-coldspear9193 it is a tactic that can be used but realistically it doesn't benefit much. All it does is save a tiny bit of time from not needing to do the door open animation. Getting a good exit is based more on having the car nice and level when you jump out. If its at any kind of angle when you exit, you'll flail for a few seconds and lose loads of height

      Compared to an ideal half send without hitting the tree, not actually that much, because I didn't have to slow down with the brakes like I normally would. However, it's not as fast as doing a full send which I've recently done in the current PS5 and PS4 record runs, if you're interested in seeing the absolute fastest way down Chilliad

    • @rbs95
      @rbs95  Год назад

      The 9F is the outright fastest car for a Gfred, but it’s also not the easiest to handle. The Infernus is slightly slower overall, but handles a lot nicer. That’s why many people say the Infernus is the best Gfred car.
      I’m personally experienced enough in the 9F that I can control it well, so the 9F is the best Gfred car for me. However, I’m never going to turn down an Infernus if it spawns and I’m not already in a 9F
