Finally. Finally they beat Faze. Team looked unbelievable today. Envoy has been on another level the last 3-4 weeks. Hopefully they keep it going!
When Formal goes off OpTic is a different animal. Team is looking really good.
I'd say Envoy is the best playmaker on Optic this year. Formal is a close 2nd. If Envoy can affectively frustrate teams with his playstyle Optic will win. He's the best player in the league at penatrating the opposing teams spawns & being sneaky... or a crudy as they call it.
Envoy hasn’t been consistent at all this year. Had a great series today but overall to say he is more consistent when he has constantly struggled is crazy

One thing I've learned today is, no matter what Optic do, haters will find something petty to cry about.
Today's big excuse out of the fanboys was that FaZe where just testing out their bad maps, like no lmao. They literally lost their best control map which is Raid and one of their best HP maps being Moscow, not to mention Miami and Apocalypse are Optic's 2 worst maps ever.
How FaZe lost this is beyond me.
Faze did in fact lose on 2 of their best maps but they also played on 3 of their worst maps and that's not an excuse it's a fact. Literally go check out the stats lol. You don't see them playing a team like ultra on those exact same maps in a single series. Props to optic but Faze did fuck up with their map picks. Not trying to discredit optic, just criticising my own team. If it was another team like subliners or LAT faze would have won the series still. Optic won cuz they did improve but faze messed up.
Also why is an optic fan talking about excuses when optic fans make the most excuses out of everyone in the league 😂🤦♂️. That's the irony here. You guys have had like 30 excuses this entire season 💀. Just pointing that out lmao.

The players on the teams are friends. Abezy and Arcitys play with Scump on the reg. Somehow the fans are completely toxic and disgusting though. What a great series, love to see Optic play to their potential. Faze fans just mad they didn't have a reason to spam "eZaF"

One thing I think people learned is that Scump is legit still one of the biggest threats, he kept cutting simp and abezy down a lot this series

Fewer players and teams means the competition is tighter. Plus this game is a much more competitive game than recent years

And in the first half of bo3 they still were rivals, going into a finals at ESWC. They both were another finals for stage 1 in WW2. Even if it kinda fell off for bo4 they've been rivals for a while

Yeah ez 3-0 if they didn't throw. It seems to be the only way they manage to lose series. No excuses really, with players of this calibre you shouldn't be making as much mistakes as they do. I can't say I'm disappointed with a 2-2 5-5 11th round win though lmao.
