Awesome track, I’ve done it 3 times, first time on dirt bikes then bought the 4WD’s back for a couple of trips. Love the isolation and fantastic camping on remote rivers. Best track in Australia 😊

Love these old videos. Munja was a great track and we have done it several times. Unfortunately it is all closed up now and I don't think it will re open.
Yeah I was told when I was there in 2015 that it was being handed back to traditional owner control .Glad I did it when i did now.
There are many videos here on RUclips of people towing campers and off-road caravans both ways along the Munja. I know you blokes like to talk up your travels and make them seem like you're mad adventurers but the bvllsh!t level is just getting higher and higher with this show.

I spent a week in Walcott inlets in the mid eighties, looks like it is just as wild now as it was then.
Brings back memories, I was there in 1985, certainly remote
when r u going to do the stock track (or something like that)? aparantly the toughest track in AU according to 4 x overland
Pretty sure a bt50 would have more ground clearance than a 76? Haha front diff hanging down? spring hangers under the rear diff?

I thought this track was closed in 2020. We took our camper trailers 5 years ago. Geez how old is this. Rick and Anne sold Mt Elizabeth about 5 years ago.

This track has been closed since 2020 and is now under traditional ownership, with plans to reopen.... someday.
