On what you might call an average day's drive each day without wanting to break any records or do any extended all day high speed driving, it can take me 5 - 7 days to drive from my home in the south to the border of the next Territory in the north. That's just highway driving I'm talking. Longer if I wanted to use back roads. Mine is officially the biggest state in the world. Something around 1 million square miles. A lot to see but also a lot of distance in between as well. I had my 21st birthday driving a 6WD dynamite truck on the Canning Stock Route for an oil exp company. My tip to all, is to never 'bash' your vehicle no matter what make it is.
Highly recommended never to go anywhere in the bush without a Rocket Rod! Love these videos from Vancouver BC! By far my new favourite channel! Thanks for the adventures Graham and Shaun!
right, a bar of soap in a offroad tool kit.?. that is one that i would have not thought of... most guys on the trail will probably make fun of you cause they will think your a clean freak ;)
@@MrMrsregor I've got a bag of this hand cleaning junk my old work had, came in as a white powder. I do hope a cop never looks there cause it'll be difficult to explain lol. Super gritty stuff though, grease doesn't stand a chance
@@0xsergy tell ya what i wouldnt just have soap i would also have flex tape in my recovery kit while soap alone seems to be a great temp stop gap the flex tape over it would keep that sealed until you can get a replacement.
I fixed a gas tank leak with silicone caulking and a rag. Two years later I traded the car in and that silicone was still keeping the tank from leaking. If I knew about soap I would have started with that but I just slapped the silicone over the leaking hole. Silicone will stick through grease.
Not one winch pull in this 2 part special! Am I on the right YT Channel?? Seriously, I am absolutely addicted to these films. I can’t get enough. Thanks to Graham Shaun and all the usuals. Keep em coming!
You guys are living the dream! I was pretty raised in the Zuni Mountains out here in New Mexico. My dad worked 4 on, 4 off at a coal mine and from April to October, we'd spend almost every day off up in the mountains. We had an 85 Blazer, 86 Military Blazer (diesel), 09 4 Runner and now we have a 97 Jeep Cherokee and an 03 H2...but he passed away this past November. He would have absolutely LOVED this channel and these videos. So thank you guys.
Why do these adventures end so soon? Best Channel on RUclips by far quality and content. Australia is a beautifull place to wheel. Greetings from Texas
Those paintings are remarkable!!!! This was such a treat to watch. I really enjoyed the Australian history that you included in the video. Thanks guys. This was really awesome!
Rockets gift is awesome, so unique and connected to the land and people of that area. The kind of thing you put on a shelf and people ask about over and over, 'what is this?', and then the stories come out about the travels taken. True aboriginal art to show a real authentic example of the ancient paintings. So cool.
Graham/Shaun, just purchased a 79 and your trip is on the list. I am so jealous. What an awesome video, by far the best yet. Please submit more vids. Congrats Fellas.
I've watched alot of your videos on your channel and this has too be my favourite so far. Ronnie and Colin are legends and have an amazing sense of humour. And Evil is an absolute beast of a truck. Love your channel, all the adventures and tricks as well as the friendship. Brilliant channel guys. 👍👊👍 As a South African🇿🇦 now living in the UK 🇬🇧, I totally love your sense of humor and "exploring" your amazing country, with you. Thank you .....😎
Found your videos a couple weeks ago and have been binge watching them non stop here in Canada. Keep up the good work boys! And beautiful deer you got the other day Graham! 🦌
The whole 2 episodes I was wondering what the hell kind of motor was in the 75. Was it a 2ht/1hzt/holden 308/350chev? I realised the decal on the side the whole time said 6.5L. Finally realised it was a Chev TD v8. 46:49 That little 75 is a damn tough ute
You guys push your wheels HARD, and well :D And you all run a fun, professional channel that obviously has a ton of work going into it. You keep producing, I'll keep watching these fine videos. This channel deserves a TON more exposure. You cats never change your stripes. Your chemistry as a team is perfect.
Hi guys from Scotland. Can I just say how much I enjoy your videos . I would love to do the things you do some day . I drive a 4 x4 and love it but regrettably she sees no more than the occasional muddy track . You are so lucky living in that wonderful land with all its opportunity to explore by 4 x4 . Continue to have great fun mates in the Dirty thirty , Shorty and all the other great vehicles. Love the cooking recipes too 😀. All the best mates !
Fantastic content boys!! I just have to get up there and experience this wonderful part of Australia. I'm so grateful that i was born in a time where i can experience these great wonders of this country. Because as time goes on, we destroy more and more of them. Looking forward to the next one! And Happy Belated 50th Birthday Rod! You're a true gentleman!
The look on Ronnys face when he crosses the river and it suddenly gets deep. So funny! That looked like such a fun trip guys, the Kimberley is the best!
What a fantastic episode. I totally enjoy ALL of your episodes and have found myself watching around six or seven episodes per day. Your site is without a doubt my very favorite and I am hopelessly hooked. I live in Arizona in the U.S. and do a lot of four wheeling but what you present here is top notch, bar none! You boys are my favorite and if I ever get the chance to visit Australia, I'll be looking you up. I even find myself starting to talk like you! Keep up the great work. You are very appreciated! Good day mates!
What I really appreciate about your series....you genuinely love and respect the Earth and her abundant life. Thank you for taking time to show us not only the fun with the trucks but also your love of the country. Australia is on my bucket list. New Zealand was great, but I think Australia is the bomb for off-roading. As as far as the steaks go...I have never turned down a grilled steak on the barbie. :)
Great bush fix in shorty on the tank! This tip just might save people's lifes. But at the least its sure to save you a long walk ! Thanks guys please keep it coming
Just a small request fella's , nothing too difficult, can you please extend your episodes to 4hrs , never long enough, I'm a true blue Aussie Vic Geelong boy working and stuck over here in Bahrain where there is endless supply of sand and 40+ degree days, been here almost 4 years working Construction and your shows are one of few that keep my head together, lol! . Keep it up boys.
Just beautiful. You fellas came up the Pilbara way about 13 yrs ago for a shoot. I’m still up this way and it gets in your blood. The longer you spend up in Australia’s north the more you see and appreciate. There is no place like it on Earth, we are so lucky. I can happily roll a swag out for a week in total isolation and just appreciate how small we are and how insignificant our problems really are once you get away from it all. Cheers for the footage.
Just amazing...love the teamwork...not sure if we have that kinda bog here in the states..but here in Florida we do have trails close to the swamps...lol
Been thru some of the country you fellas travel, and have some of the best memories ever, of this timeless land. Did all of our's in the ever reliable 80 series and boy is it tough. Only thing we broke was an after market pan hard rod on the worst correlations ever!! got it welded up at "old " Halls Creek by a pipeline welder. Love your vids keep em coming. How about a bit of Tassie? in particular Montezuma Falls- we had to turn back about 3km short due to a baddly flooded very fast flowing creek just couldn't get a safety line across ....oh well
