Wildfire can be like termites. Subtle variants in architecture, such as stucco-soffits can prevent fire from getting a foothold on a structure's roofline and getting into the attic space and burning from the inside out. Roofing materials, interior fire sprinkler systems installed, can prevent the destruction of a home when unprotected structures make fire's entrance much easier.

I was surprised in Oregon, too, driving through Detroit and seeing how random/ selective fire is. There would be fire up to a line and then it would stop... as well as places where it would burn one item but not another... or one tree but not another. There are hotsprings there and there are places that are touched and some that are not. It doesn't make sense until you have seen enough fire damage to know that fire does hop and sometimes will decimate an entire area and then stop at a highway or jump roads and then stop at certain areas/ places. I been asking for pics of cell towers. Here in NC the cell towers have 27k volts going to them. Factories only run on 470v. 5g the top of the spectrum is microwaves. Imagine a 27,000 volt microwave. Put aluminum in microwave see what happens. Thats why all aluminum on cars melted. And they been spraying nano aluminum in air.
Anything that was blue in color survived as long as it wasn’t close enough to suffer heat damage from other burning things. The laser doesn’t effect the color blue.
A Shell petrol station with fuel tanks for petrol, diesel, & gas bottles isn’t even touched. Churches and shopping malls stand alone with everything burnt to the ground. Overhanging trees with leaves untouched standing over houses that have completely disintegrated. Cars that are half burnt with the engine and windscreen completely melted and air still in the untouched rear tyres. The undamaged buildings in the fully burnt areas are so unusual. What’s even more crazy are the single houses burnt to the ground among the newer estates where almost nothing was damaged. It’s makes no sense and can’t be rationalised by anyone.
Fires are like that. Many elements combine to spare some things and burn others. The churches are usually masonry, the Cannery mall is all metal surrounded by asphalt and concrete. The cars gas tanks fueled their own hot destruction. Some locations were protected from the wind driven fireballs and embers.

@@sunsetgarage755 By simply googling, I found that tempered glass has a melting point of give or take 1200 degrees. A gas fueled fire can burn as hot as 2500 degrees. Fires are capricious. It is possible that the wind can totally transfer flames from where they are, to a new location. If the first location has the right type of substrate, it can smolder and reignite. If it is burning on metal and glass, it might not smolder and reignite. That would explain your paint and tire scenario. Not sure what your conspiracy is, but not buying it. Do you live on Maui? I think not, since you used British spelling of tire. I do live here. I have a pretty good understanding of the failings of our community, and how they led to this utter tragedy. The fire came to within 400 yards of my house.

However, what you fail to realise with the particular vehicle in question is that this is a half incinerated pickup truck on Maui where the fuel tank is located @ the rear of the vehicle (like every car) where it remains completely undamaged. Please reevaluate your answer & explain how the windscreen melted from bushfire that melted aluminium & glass on only half a car, and left the other half without even a char mark. I am not a local to Maui, in fact only a month ago I knew nothing about the situation that you obviously know more about. The stuff that melted, melted. Googling temperatures things melt at, looking at pictures, and saying “that material melts at that temperature so it couldn’t have melted in a fire!” is preventing you from learning what REALLY happens in a fire. There are videos from multiple areas before, during, and after the fire showing things burning in the crazy wind. Now you can see the aftermath. You can see how it’s all burnt. Everything is consistent with science. Intense wind pulling trees out of the ground from their roots. Big green branches torn off their trees from the wind. You act like because it’s a certain material it should have caught fire. “That was wooden and didn’t burn! That was metal and melted!” This is viewing things very black and white and not thinking of numerous factors that affect what survived. Surface area. Defensible space. Take a big ass root of a tree, hold a lighter to it, tell me how long before it catches fire. Now cut that root into a billion pieces, all close together with air in between every piece, now hold a lighter under that and watch it all light up and burn almost instantly. You’ve got house on top of house filled inside and outside with millions of individual items. Add fire and record wind and it’s a recipe for disaster. If you just analyze defensible space and building material, it is so easy to see why some stuff survived while others got completely wrecked.
The Post Office burned;(quite completely). If this was a "planned" burn of some type, would they include that? The red roof miracle house had just had a metallic roof installed, and its surrounded by stone to prevent Termites specifically, but they said the presence of stone helped to deter the fire. One of those older Churches is made of stone, and another seemed to have a stone/dirt yard without much or any foliage. Some things burn better than others. The new subdivision may have had updated fire rated roofing. Some of the the older homes may have not had updated fire resistant roofing and/or construction.

@2:43 I walked by the power pole with the big white box attached to it 3 days before the fire. The Hawaiian power company was taking apart and doing something with the white box. We're going to see more of this more frequently in the near future. Also, many states are now considering rounding up homeless populations and involuntarily placing them in mental hospitals. The fire did not burn anything that was blue, even blue tshirts. I cant explain this. Other than i seen a video displaying direct energy lasers hitting different colors of a cloth material and it burned all the different colors except for the blue one.

Living in Alabama I have seen my share of tornado destruction. I have seen a home totally destroyed and the house next door did not have a shingle blown off, no broken windows,and hanging baskets still hanging on the porch. Houses all around this house were totally destroyed with one having only the concrete slab remaining. Mother nature can do strange things!

If you Google Oprah's Maui house, images come up of when she purchased it (old roof) when she remodeled it for a bed and breakfast (new roof, it dark colored), and apparently newer images show a bluish tinted reflective type of roofing on it.
Kihei is fine. The fire spread down the mountain to pulehu and I think maybe a house or a couple got damaged but it didn’t spread far. The fire is out now and there is no danger here at the moment.

I was surprised in Oregon, too, driving through Detroit and seeing how random/ selective fire is. A Shell petrol station with fuel tanks for petrol, diesel, & gas bottles isn’t even touched. Churches and shopping malls stand alone with everything burnt to the ground. Overhanging trees with leaves untouched standing over houses that have completely disintegrated. Cars that are half burnt with the engine and windscreen completely melted and air still in the untouched rear tyres.
The undamaged buildings in the fully burnt areas are so unusual. What’s even more crazy are the single houses burnt to the ground among the newer estates where almost nothing was damaged. It’s makes no sense and can’t be rationalised by anyone.
Fires are like that. Many elements combine to spare some things and burn others. The churches are usually masonry, the Cannery mall is all metal surrounded by asphalt and concrete. The cars gas tanks fueled their own hot destruction. Some locations were protected from the wind driven fireballs and embers.

It is possible that the wind can totally transfer flames from where they are, to a new location. If the first location has the right type of substrate, it can smolder and reignite. If it is burning on metal and glass, it might not smolder and reignite. That would explain your paint and tire scenario. Not sure what your conspiracy is, but not buying it. Do you live on Maui? I think not, since you used British spelling of tire. I do live here. I have a pretty good understanding of the failings of our community, and how they led to this utter tragedy. The fire came to within 400 yards of my house.

I am not a local to Maui, in fact only a month ago I knew nothing about the situation that you obviously know more about. But you are absolutely kidding yourself if you think this fire, and the subsequent Californian fires, do not contain a variety of anomalies that cannot be explained or attributed to natural disasters. There are videos from multiple areas before, during, and after the fire showing things burning in the crazy wind. Now you can see the aftermath. You can see how it’s all burnt. Everything is consistent with science. Intense wind pulling trees out of the ground from their roots. Big green branches torn off their trees from the wind. You act like because it’s a certain material it should have caught fire. “That was wooden and didn’t burn! That was metal and melted!” This is viewing things very black and white and not thinking of numerous factors that affect what survived. Surface area. Defensible space. Take a big ass root of a tree, hold a lighter to it, tell me how long before it catches fire. Now cut that root into a billion pieces, all close together with air in between every piece, now hold a lighter under that and watch it all light up and burn almost instantly. You’ve got house on top of house filled inside and outside with millions of individual items. Add fire and record wind and it’s a recipe for disaster. If you just analyze defensible space and building material, it is so easy to see why some stuff survived while others got completely wrecked.
The Post Office burned;(quite completely). If this was a "planned" burn of some type, would they include that? The red roof miracle house had just had a metallic roof installed, and its surrounded by stone to prevent Termites specifically, but they said the presence of stone helped to deter the fire. One of those older Churches is made of stone, and another seemed to have a stone/dirt yard without much or any foliage. Some things burn better than others. The new subdivision may have had updated fire rated roofing. Some of the the older homes may have not had updated fire resistant roofing and/or construction.

@2:43 I walked by the power pole with the big white box attached to it 3 days before the fire. The Hawaiian power company was taking apart and doing something with the white box. Obviously didn't think to much of it but now I find it odd that it's right on the fire line. Do what you will with this information, might not mean anything.

Find a job with a true small business, a community center and not a large global corporation - be sure to vet them and investigate how they treat workers and the general public. If we keep bad corporate jobs vacant, the corporations can't do the dirty work that's being ordered. I hear that there are many job vacancies in general - that could be good, I just hope the more vicious jobs are not being given huge pay. Watch that huge pay.
There are plenty of parallel economy businesses popping up to provide safe and sane alternative jobs.Your next marketing slogan does not have to be woke. We do have far more power than the average person would know. Keep searching and you will find your place.

If you Google Oprah's Maui house, images come up of when she purchased it (old roof) when she remodeled it for a bed and breakfast (new roof, it dark colored), and apparently newer images show a bluish tinted reflective type of roofing on it.
Kihei is fine. The fire spread down the mountain to pulehu and I think maybe a house or a couple got damaged but it didn’t spread far. The fire is out now and there is no danger here at the moment.
What about all of the blue things? Like bins umbrellas the cars and trucks and blue shirts that were unscathed? And multiple green things too were not touched. And yellow hydrants that sadly stood unused?

Notice houses turns to ash yet the trees still standing. Car parts melted yet the asphalt did not. So many videos but I never seen any garbages trash can melted or evidenced they are burnt. Like someone removed them before the fire burned the town to ashes. For sure even fire department expert will be puzzled by it.
