Getting offended and leaving a comedy show is like getting scared at a horror movie and leaving. It defeats the purpose of even going.
Not exactly the same thing. You’re meant to be scared at a horror movie. You aren’t meant to be offended at a comedy show. You’re meant to laugh. It’s supposed to be funny lol it’s more like going to a drama and being scared and leaving. The drama isn’t meant to be scary, but you got scared anyway and left
