MARTIN NIEVERA: Returns to Vicor after 41 years ||

Martin Nievera's recording career came into full circle as he recently inked a contract with Viva Records. For those who don't know yet, the Concert King started with Vicor, Viva's predecessor forty years ago. He remembered that the title of his maiden album was "Take One" and now that he's back to his original home, the title of his fresh offering is "Take Two" and this time around, he selected some classic OPMs to remake including his signature ditty "Be My Lady" along with "Say that You Love Me", " Never Ever Say Goodbye" and "Tag-araw." Definitely proud with Martin's return to Viva is the recording company's top honcho Vic Del Rosario, Jr. whose faith in the Concert King's commercial viability remains strong up to this day. Matin expressed his happiness and excitement with all the possible projects he'll do with Viva Records in the coming days. During the press interview, the musical icon touched on other equally exciting developments in his personal life at present like being a first-time grandfather courtesy of son Robin. He also analyzed the magic of his professional tandem with former wife Pops Fernandez, to which he said that they never fake and force anything to their fans, the reason why until now, they still clamor to see them perform on stage.
