I am very happy to watch this interview of Julius Babao with Chiqui Hollmann. My family lived in my Dad's ancestral house during our childhood in F.Blumentritt St. walking distance in the Hollmanns abode. My sister next to me and I enrolled and learned Hawaiaan and Tahitian from Chiqui. She was very young then. Wishing Chiqui and family bountiful blessings always! Later on, I saw her on Eat Bulaga, and we were quite disheartened when she left the show. Her manner of speaking resembles that of Small Laude-both elegant and refined, reminiscent of a haciendera.

Thanks alot for this wonderful encounter with Ms Chiqui Hollmann-Yulo. I've always liked her when I was growing up watching the noontime shows. She was certainly the breath of fresh air that Eat Bulaga and Student Canteen needed. I also vividly remember her hosting with Keno, Toni Rose and Randy Santiago in Lunch Date, and it seems like they all had a fun time hosting the show. I wish they had more time to talk about that segment in Chiqui's life. I've always wondered how Chiqui has been. Since she hasn't been visible on TV anymore, I just thought that she might have left showbiz and possibly migrated to the US, Canada and the like. I am so glad that Chiqui is thriving and is leading a very happy and content life. I am also glad that despite the trials she meets in life, she always comes up floating and ends up winning. What a genuine and remarkable lady indeed! We love you, Chiqui! ❤

I love Chiqui Hollmann. I always watched her on Student Canteen and Lunch Date, which were my favourite noontime programs back then. Chiqui was my favourite host. She's a fashionista, and i would always look forward to watching her outfit for the day. She used to have a fashion studio named after her. I miss her, but I am glad she's being interviewed here. As a young girl I remember Ms Chiqui and her family to have been very active members sa Church of the Risen Lord sa UP Diliman. Naalala ko how she and her sisters would perform during church celebrations (she could do a mean Tahitian dance number then) tapos tuwing Linggo andun sila as a family. So talagang solid values ang meron ang family ni Ms Chiqui and seeing this interview and learning how well she and her family are doing is such a delight! I remember Chiqui singing Someone That I Used to Love in Eat Bulaga when she and Vic Sotto were not anymore in a relationship. It was sad yet sweet at the same time. Sad because l was expecting them to move forward in their relationship but didn't. Sweet because of how gracious she handled the situation. I was then in college so that left an impression on me.

Nice anecdote yung tinawagan sya ni Coney for Student Canteen tas eventually Eat Bulaga made a counter offer to both Helen and Coney which at that time female hosts ng Student Canteen. Apparently nasagot na bakit both Coney and Helen was unceremoniously kicked as hosts sa Student Canteen, nalaman malamang ni Eddie Elarde na may offer sa kanila ang Eat Bulaga. Parang March pumasok si Chiqui sa Canteen then May naman ni-launch si Coney sa Bulaga. Parang 2 months din niligawan ni Tuviera sina Coney at Helen for Eat Bulaga (for Coney) and Kilometro Quiz (pre prog for Helen).

Thanks alot for this wonderful encounter with Ms Chiqui Hollmann-Yulo. I've always liked her when I was growing up watching the noontime shows. She was certainly the breath of fresh air that Eat Bulaga and Student Canteen needed. I also vividly remember her hosting with Keno, Toni Rose and Randy Santiago in Lunch Date, and it seems like they all had a fun time hosting the show. I wish they had more time to talk about that segment in Chiqui's life. I've always wondered how Chiqui has been. Since she hasn't been visible on TV anymore, I just thought that she might have left showbiz and possibly migrated to the US, Canada and the like. I am so glad that Chiqui is thriving and is leading a very happy and content life. I am also glad that despite the trials she meets in life, she always comes up floating and ends up winning. What a genuine and remarkable lady indeed! We love you, Chiqui! ❤

I love Chiqui Hollmann. I always watched her on Student Canteen and Lunch Date, which were my favourite noontime programs back then. Chiqui was my favourite host. She's a fashionista, and i would always look forward to watching her outfit for the day. She used to have a fashion studio named after her. I miss her, but I am glad she's being interviewed here. Nice to see her again.

As a young girl I remember Ms Chiqui and her family to have been very active members sa Church of the Risen Lord sa UP Diliman. Naalala ko how she and her sisters would perform during church celebrations (she could do a mean Tahitian dance number then) tapos tuwing Linggo andun sila as a family. So talagang solid values ang meron ang family ni Ms Chiqui and seeing this interview and learning how well she and her family are doing is such a delight!
Loved how you just let her tell her stories so parang ka harap lang namin si Ms Chiqui na nagkukuwento.

I remember Chiqui singing Someone That I Used to Love in Eat Bulaga when she and Vic Sotto were not anymore in a relationship. It was sad yet sweet at the same time. Sad because l was expecting them to move forward in their relationship but didn't. Sweet because of how gracious she handled the situation. I was then in college so that left an impression on me.

Sa RPN 9 kase nag start ang eat bulaga noon. by the time na nagbalik na ang abs-cbn after edsa revolution after 2 years binili nila ang lahat ng shows ng TAPE Inc. from RPN 9. Isa sa mga shows na pag aari ng TAPE yung connie reyes on camera kaya paglipat nila ng abs cbn nag reformat kumbaga ni retain lng ang tvj pero yung female co host pinalitan ni connie reyes.

Nice anecdote yung tinawagan sya ni Coney for Student Canteen tas eventually Eat Bulaga made a counter offer to both Helen and Coney which at that time female hosts ng Student Canteen. Apparently nasagot na bakit both Coney and Helen was unceremoniously kicked as hosts sa Student Canteen, nalaman malamang ni Eddie Elarde na may offer sa kanila ang Eat Bulaga. Parang March pumasok si Chiqui sa Canteen then May naman ni-launch si Coney sa Bulaga. Parang 2 months din niligawan ni Tuviera sina Coney at Helen for Eat Bulaga (for Coney) and Kilometro Quiz (pre prog for Helen).
