Actually from experience maganda talaga yan na may fallback na great love and friendship if it doesnt work out. Ex lovers can be the bestest of friends. In fact a lot of people request or want that these days at the first sign of incompatibility or that things may not work out. Best friends nalang, but some years ago mas mahirap for most people to be good friends after a failed relationship. Mas traditional and mas angat yung hurt feelings and negative thoughts. I applaud people who are mature enough to move past it all and be close friends na parang walang nangyari. Real sign of maturity. Wish more people would realize that life is too short to waste on negativity and embrace this kind of positive and forward thinking.
