- Sa part 3 at huling bahagi ng PEP Spotlight interview ni Pops Fernandez, inilahad na niya ang dahilan kung bakit natagalan silang umamin ng dating asawang si Martin Nievera tungkol sa kanilang paghihiwalay.
Ikinasal sina Pops at Martin nung 1987, naghiwalay nung 1999, at opisyal na na-annul ang kasal nung 2000.
Pero bago ang tuluyan nilang paghihiwalay nung 1999, nanatili silang tahimik tungkol sa problemang kinasuungan ng kanilang relasyon sa bandang huling bahagi ng 1990s.

Actually from experience maganda talaga yan na may fallback na great love and friendship if it doesnt work out. Ex lovers can be the bestest of friends. In fact a lot of people request or want that these days at the first sign of incompatibility or that things may not work out. Best friends nalang, but some years ago mas mahirap for most people to be good friends after a failed relationship. Mas traditional and mas angat yung hurt feelings and negative thoughts. I applaud people who are mature enough to move past it all and be close friends na parang walang nangyari. Real sign of maturity. Wish more people would realize that life is too short to waste on negativity and embrace this kind of positive and forward thinking. Always a fan of Martin and Pops as a couple and for me I think they always will be a power couple even if they have moved on. Cheers to them both!
Pops is a kind-hearted person who forgave Martin and she loves even the son of Martin to his mistress.
Oo nga naman. Super luma na ang issues between Pops n Martin. They are living their own lives now and they have both moved on from the aches. Antiquated na ang mga tinatanong, no longer interesting.

Remember in their joint statement they said that they were still praying and trying to work it out but some people already took the liberty of announcing it in public without their permissions. The funniest part was these people even got offended when Bea and Dom issued the statement. Christy Fermin even said that if Bea and Dom had issued the statement right away, there won't be any speculations. But they already said it, they were still trying to work it out!!! While Boy Abunda even had the guts to say he will keep his mouth shut, but not for long!!! Goodness, why people are so cruel? Honestly, the worst dissappointment is Boy Abunda, he stoop so low. His Nanay must be so proud of him!!! Christy Fermin? She has no integrity and no credibility!
