I'm a firm believer in David Vizard's 128 rule. Have you ran a carby Crow cam in a 6.0L?
You would speed less money and time if you just got the Melling rocker arms with the upgrade already applied. It doesn't get rid of the needle bearings but it captures them with a external snap ring. You can get all new rocker arms for the price of the CHE kit (in the states, may not be applicable where you are)

Thanks for bring it to my attention I've just got to put the LS1 back together a with the GM motor sport CNC ported heads in my 2001 VU Maloo R8 6 speed manual with factory 3:7 diff gears.. Hope I make 400 rwhp as well 🤞
That 1212 with good CNC port in a manual should defs go over 400whp, just make sure you have a real good exhaust and OTR and can't see why it wouldn't

Curious, we’ve seen this 2 times, but have you guys had ls1s that have mixed rods?
Have seen it twice now, 4 newer style rods 4 older style, both times on unopened engines
Any trouble with rubber tailshaft donuts for 4L65s? Keep tearing them. Going to try to find a billet one tomorrow. Any experience with them? Looks like not many in stock anywhere. Cheers

Loved my black ops headers on my vz ss but same thing just the paint comes off straight away had the same problem with mine just idling it was flaking off

Would a Stock exhaust need to be completely replaced with this cam? 2002 LS1 Camaro is what I have have. Very interested in the 871212 Crow cam.
Yes I think so. I dont think a cam of this size would react very well with a standard exhaust

What oil and plugs are you running in the Stato please?
I’m interested in what oils u like running in these ls1 engines
We usually run Penrite HPR10 if they are only on ULP98

@@Bull-dog24 nah mate she was healthy as, no smoke, no oil usage, no funny noises so we left the bottom end alone.
