    You don't sound very well today mate.
    I hope you feel better soon. Buddy.
    I must admit i have had a couple of headaches myself this morning as well so I'm not feeling much better either myself.
    Some point next late year during my holiday plans. I could end up driving my camper van up into Queensland just for a road trip holiday. My other vehicle is 1984 Nissan Urvan Diesel camper van - 5-speed manual - column shift.
    I do hope you get your driver's license back with your life back to normal. I have been a bit worried about you in general. That's the kind of person I am. Hope that means a lot to you.
    It is nice to have people caring and being nice to people helping whatever it can take.
    Please do look after yourself.
    I wish you all the best.
    Regards from William.

    Thanks again guys the car is 100% better I always thought it never ran to its potential and so glad I got you guys to tune to find the bad tune in it so I recommend anyone to have a tune. Car was completely different beast on the track got atleast extra 15km down the straight and the gear tune made massive difference and highly recommend that also. Went from 1:04.57 to 1:03.70 at Lakeside which is huge gain on time.

    Just searched the stock hp/kw for this motor, according to GM specs the 6.0lt is rated at 260kw 350hp, I always thought this was at the flywheel.... looks like Holden commodores are rated at the wheels.

    • @aaronnoyb
      @aaronnoyb 8 месяцев назад

      Holden/GM horsepower numbers are completely different to what you see on a 10 second dyno run. GM's rating is SAE horsepower, at the crank, with all accessories fitted and loaded, the biggest difference being, the motor is fully loaded for several minutes(often5 or more), before horsepower numbers are recorded, so heat becomes a big factor.
      If you want some reading to put you to sleep, the SAE standards are available on line.

    • @BoostGumps
      @BoostGumps  8 месяцев назад

      We do find that Holdens HP/KW ratings at the crank are generally quite accurate when we dyno them in std form and account for drivetrain losses.

    Is it better to run the return from the catch can before or after throttle body

    • @lancecooper4646
      @lancecooper4646 11 месяцев назад

      If you plumb the return from the catch can after the throttle body, it'll be getting full manifold vacuum, & you'll need to mount a pcv valve into the top of your catch can....which is actually a good way to run it 👍

    Hey mate love the vids
    i know your really busy and have heaps on your plate but was wondering if you had a little time for some information.
    I own a 06 crewman with a l76 6lt auto. i was wondering if these motors are good for tuning. i have a full exhaust with high flow cats and extractors and a otr already , just wondering if its worth perusing anymore for this motor.
    i know you guys could do heaps with it if money is no object
    would love to hear if you had tuned any l76 before
    if i have missed a vid with a l76 please share if that answers my querries
    cheers

    • @BoostGumps
      @BoostGumps  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yeh mate if you have exhaust and intake 100% worth tuning, we have found them with just exhaust go to unsafe AFR’s on stock calibration, gives an idea of just how much more air the are consuming with basic bolt on mods.

    • @KillerCol
