- Durres is known for its palm trees, beautiful sea, and warm weather. Is it worth visiting Durres if you are traveling to Albania in the winter, though? Come with me as I take a day trip to Durres from Tirana, Albania. I explain the confusing bus system and show you what you can do in Durres during the winter.

Great video. I'm here living in Durres now making videos. I haven't posted anything from here yet because I'm still finishing up my Mexico content. Anyway, I had the same challenge finding the entrance to the Amphitheatre at first, but I kept walking and ran right into it. Loved your take on the city.
Thanks for watching! Enjoy Albania!
We were in Durrës 2 weeks ago and before that our last international trip was our honeymoon in Mexico. It was a rainy day but we got a free lift from Tirana so could not say no. Can't wait to see your Durres content!
Welcome to Albania🖐 the enter of amphitheatre is on the other side, enjoy you time 👍❤🇦🇱
Thank you!
seems like a nice place for summer
Beautiful city 🇦🇱✌

Thanks for watching!
You can use the App Moovit for public transportation in Tirana :)
As for mosques, you only need to take your shoes of before entering. Other than that, you should keep in mind clothing rules that are more or less the same in all religious buildings - for instance, not showing too much skin, especially in summer - but you were completely fine. I highly recommend visiting not only the mosques but also the churches that are often close by. However, people are rather agnostic than religious nowadays.
The Capitals of Balkan countries are often really crowded. I guess, you will eventually learn about how to avoid rush hours and traffic jams.
Are you now heading to the South or North of the country ?
Thanks for the information!
Beautiful Albania

I hear Saranda is nice and there are ferries to Corfu, Greece.
Yes, I am waiting to go to Saranda in the summer.
welcom in albania
Oh my god this is such great news! I impulsively planned a trip there in January and I was concerned about the weather.
Did you get there last January? How was it? I’m planning to be in Albania
For 2 weeks around Christmas. I’m in a little doubt if that’s worth the beautiful country. Let me know !
🤗🤗 nice video
Thanks for watching!
Hi!! I'm going to Albania the first two weeks of October. Do you think the weather is good for swimming? Thanks, nice video!!
Probably not. The water stays pretty cold year-round in Albania. It's fine in the summer when the weather is really hot out, but it will start cooling down in October when you probably won't want to swim.
@@TheVeganAbroad I'm from Canarian Island, Spain, and the water is pretty cold here too. I think the same 21 celsius during October. I like cold water ;P I hope the weather outside were goo enpugh for sunbathing. Thanks for the info!!! Cheers :)

We don't have main religion in Albania...
There are more atheists than Christians or Muslims...
Atheism isn’t a religion. From my understanding, the most practiced religion in Albania is Islam. I never said that other religions don’t exist here.
@@TheVeganAbroad yea we don’t wreally give too much f... about religion , we are albanian first , it’s normal to get marry some Christian with Muslim , my parents are , so yea .. fuck the religion
you talk more than you show speak less and show more
In case you didn’t notice, this is my video. I can talk for a full hour and post it if I want to. If you want, you can post an entire video just showing off the city. No one is stopping you.
@@TheVeganAbroad and why you cry for ..? The guy just said speak less , or you don’t want any critics ,
@@spirometaj2762 Nah, he was just being hateful. I deleted his other comment. I'll never understand people that write hate for no reason, and they won't be given a place to comment on my channel. No one is forcing you to watch my video. If you don't like it, you are more than welcome to watch a different one.
@@TheVeganAbroad cheers vegan girl
