That was outstanding ! Watched the lot 😃. Mate you hit every trail really well . What did you think of the climbs ? Whitey is hand built and pretty chunky but is so much fun. The way it runs off to cactus is just awesome . It’s funny with k9. I have no drama with rock section but freak on that bigger drop and actually can’t bring myself to doing it 🤣. Really good discription of the trails here and loved it that you and the boys were genuinely pumped riding them. It’s funny also you say underrated . A lot of people that come here from all over rate it the best they have been on.
Damn Mick your keen sitting through all my grunting and groaning up the climbs ahahahah! Dude gotta say I was feeling it after the 3rd climb up the hill, not at all used to that level of climb compared to most of the stuff down here (all the more reason for you to visit ;)). I still don't know why I was freezing up on the rock roll on K-9, I think both line choices had different consequences that I was focusing too much on. The drop though is easy as with a great runout. Absolutely underrated, meaning more people should be putting this network on their bucket list because it's pretty incredible.
@@BicycleCurious haha I was really interested in your lines , thoughts and the level of stoke while riding. I’ve been told while it’s a great place to ride the climbs are too long. I used to do three climbs slowly but easy . Now after one run up and down I question myself if I want to go up again. I’ve just had way too much time off the bike and I guess my 53 yo body doesn’t get excited about climbing as much as my desire does lol. K9 took me months to do that rock section . Like most features once I did it I wondered what the fuss was. I’ve crashed on the ledge and it was scary but it feels so good doing it. Remembering I’m a very average rider and the cool kids just drop off it like it’s nothing . I really enjoyed watching this vid especially when hearing everyone’s thought at the end of the trail . I know a lot of folks go away from turkey and tell everyone how good it is. I totally agree with your under rating comment. I met up with a guy from Brisbane and showed him around early in the year and said while the climbs killed him the downs were next level. Thanks for putting this vid out there mate
Top Notch Mate!! Very enjoyable, keen to get back there soon aye.🤘
Loving a massive full run vid from you dude, when I should be working. Awesome times. Can’t wait to get back 🤘
