*"does they work" jesus*
I'm german, but isn't it do they work ? :P
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Those Germans are funny......at times lol
Haha that was the first thing I noticed Jon! Spent 5 minutes deliberating whether to mention it or not, couldn't even concentrate on the video haha
Hey Jon, looked on their website and you can apply via your foam cannon, a lot less faf than that pump sprayer. Do a whole car with that and you’ll have arms like Arnie. Asta la vista baby 💪
I have only just started to use snow foams, sometimes with APC underneath. These products did much more than I expected! Looking forward to the shoot out! Really enjoying the potato cams.
Be very interesting to see how they compare with BH... As cost wise the Brute seems to be on par at £20 for 5l... I love BH but when I worked out the ratio for my lance/pressure washer / water supply set up, I'm having to use it at a 2:1 (water:product) to get my 4% on-the-panel... That's quite a lot even when only using a 400-500ml amount for a prewash... Be interesting to see how Brute compares when used through a lance (as I could not be ar5ed with using a pump sprayer for a pre-wash on a regular basis!)
If I can offer a little word of advice, just being cautious. Don't jet spray over PDC sensors. It's possible to damage them (stop them from working). I jet wash around mine and just use a detail brush to get at them.
Thanks Jon, really good test, I have both of these products but have tended to favour the spritzer, but I turbo charge it with a small amount of bilt hambers surfed hd. It works really well as a pre cleaner on 100k + mile vans that have rarely if ever been cleaned, especially on the roofs which tend to be covered in algae and fallout. Looking forward to seeing the full text especially the results of the bare metal as I only use bh autofoam on my BMW E30.
I still use two of your recommendations. I use a sprayer to cover the car in Koch Chemie GS at 5 to 1 and leave to work for 5 minutes. I then go over that with Bilt Hamber AutoFoam in a snow foam lance and leave to settle for 5 minutes. Finally, I rinse it all off with my Karcher K4. Results are always truly impressive. Got a before and after picture after a 580 mile round trip recently in the rain, snow and storms. You got an email address and I’ll ping them over.
they will most definetly work kenny for sure.. hell yer :)
I've just purchased some snow foam from jennychem. This product is supposed to clean and dry the vehicle without touching it. Waiting for delivery as we speak, also I've purchased some non flick tyre shine that says it lasts upto 3 weeks. And does not come off in the rain. Is there any chance you can do a review on these 2 products?
I was blown away by autobrite direct snow foam when I bought their Lance. So bought a 25 litre drum of it. Easy doing cars now. I've had useless snow foam in the past so I understand why people think snow foam can be a waste of time.
I’ve been using spritzer in a pump sprayer for quite a while now always does a great job 👍👍
Wow, that's actually not too bad. Some sno foams don't remove even half what these products did.
Nice one !
Which IK foamer nozzle did you use?
Wet, Medium or Dry?
Makes a difference to how products foam.
yer it does this was grey. I just never have time to alter them or change filters... like if I load it up and the foam is crap I just grin and bear it ..... but I think spritzer is mega foamy by nature too dry for this foamer perhaps so it was not just he foamers fault.
Great video!! What pressure washer do you use?
k7 karcher mate ive done a review of it.. its very good.
Jon, I bought the Trigger gun from In2Detailing, but I see you now have managed to get hold of the extension. Where did you get it from?
I also want to know this
I really like the look of these Jon, I do so many miles every week. I use Surfex HD as part of my prewash in the IK6. These actually look like they will clean better than what I’m seeing with Surfex HD, would love to know what your thoughts are in comparison from when you first tried Surfex HD 👍👍👍
I dont really use surfex this way (dont get me wrong you can but).. BH have a dedicated road film pre wash and I just think this is what you want to use as a pre wash really buddy. Its more rinsable than surfex.
Great live "on the hoof" video Jon. Looking forward to the full comparison test.
Random question but where did you get the extension lance for the quick release gun. Thinking about buying the gun but would prefer a lance as well if needed
amazon search pressure gun extention wand quick release mate.
Nice little comparison Jon. I've been raving about these 2 pre wash products so good to see your thoughts are similar to mines 👍
Also agree 100% with the pump foamer. I have a larger IK9 and I love it but you have to be really careful with dilutions on products that typically are high foaming. They come out like shaving foam and murder to apply if too concentrated. On a plus side, means you can dilute them hugely making them great value for money 👍
yer its so foamy when you put it in a foamer its too dry.. But in a lance or normal sprayer its nice... It foams up nicely under contact as well which is cool for brushing out rag tops and stuff.
Nice to see you finally got some Autoglanz products on there!! And if you can maye do auto glance products bs Alien Magic products from APC's, snow foams, detail sprays etc! That will be such a good one!
What pressure washer do you have? It looks like it puts out a lot of water.
karcher K7 m8 check out the review of it its very powerfull yes.
“Quick informal potato cam video today” had me creasing 😂
My go to prewashes are ag spritzer and shiny garage citrus oil. I switched to citrus oil because its much more economic product
Just read about Shiney garage citrus oil as never heard of it, says in great for removing layers of wax, that's not good if u don't wanna remove ya wax lol
@@boyasaka i mainly ceramic coat my cars, and in good dillution it doesnt remove waxes and sealants. Same as any other prewash.
Must admit didn't quite get snow foam. I do now. Wow. Need to investigate further.
Both look fairly decent! Would like to know your opinion on this v’s say Bilt Hamber snow foam!
Cheers chief.
For prewash we use Koch Chemie Vb @ 1:50. Snow foam Angelwax fast foam or Koch Super foam.
I've only heard good things about Spritzer. I will have to try some when my kkd citrus runs out. Another great informative video👌👌
Used both...spritzer smells and foams up better but price point for me is 20 quid more for 5l I'd rather use brute and make it a little stronger
thats like an echo of my thoughts. but I think I prefer spritzer..
Great review! Currently using Bug Off for the same type of method but after seeing this might have to grab Brute and the bonus is it seems to be cheaper!
After your snowfoam best of, and then 8 below and Bilt Hamber head to head, is there any point getting anything other than 8 below?? 🤔
I think if the missus caught you cleaning out your foamer in her kitchen sink, YOU would be in a lot of trouble. 😂😂
shes in spain im safe :)
@@forensicunplugged4295 Never imagined she's been watching you on RUclips? 😁
@@delphinebez3045 you gotta be kidding me, I barely get a "good morning" when shes here nowadays. Im one down from the dog... and we dont even have a dog!
@@ForensicDetailing any wonder, you spend more time with your cameras and products than you do with her 🤣🤣 I'm not criticising btw, I've been living with my missus for 17 years now... That's how I got into detailing 🤣🤣
What is the PH of each product by itself is one product more alkaline then the other ? How much wax or coating stripping are each of these products doing? Thanks John . Europe only products.
not covered in this video mate sorry. PH will be covered in the proper big test. I might be able to do like a wax rate erosion comparison. hmmm :) more work :(
You should have tested both products on the alloy wheels with brake dust, would have noticed the difference easier , if any
What was the dilution you did here again?
Genuinely was surprised about the results. Didn't think it made much difference, I normally snow foam just because it's fun 😁
1:25 would be 4% pir for the lance.. so that would be 50% product 50% water in the lance thats a lot. Could be a factor. but both products exceeded my expectations the panel was actualy squeeking it was so clean.
go in heavy heanded with bilt hamber auto foam higher concentration.... wait 5 or 10 minutes and pressure wash.....all dirt removed
you distribute your comments like a cluster bomb dave! :)
Surprised to see that. I also like to use a snow foam during hand washing to add extra lubrisity to the paint and hopefully minimise scratches 👍
Where about are you from Zain by the way?
@@forensicunplugged4295 I'm in North London. Can't even clean the car this week whilst I'm off due to it raining every day 😩
@@zaink7037 I feel your pain - got a new car 2 weeks ago (well new to me) and can't get outside to even give it a basic clean, driving me nuts!!
great review. i find the car dryer is not much use on a car when there is little protection on the paint. Great review
Well that's good to know, my car is absolutely mocket! But haven't got the time to give it a right good going over due to well living in Scotland lol that's why, by the time I bring all my gear out its will be raining again, I can't wait for my whole 7 days of summer 😍☀️ anyways I'd be interested to see these carried out through a snowfoam lance, I reckon they would be better, the brilliant thing about these products is for the reason I said above, not enough time to get all ur equipment out so having this to blast over and do a contactless wash in this weather seems like a perfect solution, u could do ur car in under 30 mins maybe even once a week, yes we can all agree it won't be 100% but it will be 100 times better than it was because our weather and our roads are terrible, will u be running it through the SF Lance Jon? 😎👍🏻🏴
what nozzle/ metal attachment is on the pressure washer? is it a karcher accessory
Autobrite PA lance 1.1 orrafice upgrade dr dirt lance upgrade, in2detailing trigger gun with quick release extrnation bar and white quick release jet nozzle.
if you cover a small area with more water wouldnt it have the same effect?
I just wanted like to show the difference versus soaking with water. I think its like a better control that leaving dry.
My missus says she's going to give you a bit of a kicking for making me spend loads of money on products 😂😂😂😂
doh :)
I only count on foam to take off any loose dirt that could scratch the car when I actually wash it. But all foams are different
for prewash, i use Nerta active diamond ..
04:00 he's a pro...😂😂😂
not much of a squirter though :)
@@mandismith89 😂😂😂👍🏼👍🏼
Hi Jon. Why don’t you put in that Blitz snow foam I see on your shelf and give us an even 10 product shoot out?
it will screw my thumbnail plans 9 is the cap (imagine 3x3 thumbnail of all the cars being foamed)
Forensic Unplugged Awesome. Got ye!
What air blower os that please mate?
flex m8
Love spritzer, brilliant through a foam lance.
That interesting you say that because the other reviews I've read said to avoid foam lance and use a pump sprayer...
... Good to see a different opinion - what dilution ratio do you use in the foam lance?
@@markkerr3761 well like any pre wash/ snowfoam, you get better dilution ratios in a pump sprayer and basically save money because your using less product.
I use it both ways, but it does work very well in a lance, not to thick, not to thin, runs off the car nicely and cleans really well.
As regards dilution, i have tried a couple of ratios 10-1, 20-1 both work really well, so i would do either 450ml water to 50ml spritzer or 25ml product to 475ml water, all depends on the level of dirt on the car and if it's protected or not, but still use very little product really, but don't forget using it through a lance will dilute the product further.
Through a pump sprayer you would use less, so in a 2 litre sprayer that i have, i use it round 25-1 up to 50-1 still works well even up to 75-1, on the bottle it says lsp safe from 100-1 upwards but don't listen to that, joe (autoglanz boss man) told me it's lsp safe even neat (quality lsp) and told me to play around with the ratios, so obviously yes you get value for money in a pump sprayer, but not as fun as foaming 😀, and also foam helps it not dry as quick aswell and better for working the crevices with a brush also, so foaming does have it's advantages at the expense of using more product.
Give it a try through as lance you will be pleasantly suprised, again joe told me in testing that because it did so well through a lance, they decided to add instructions to be used through one.
Hope this helps.
So the foamy one had less time on the panel and did a better job?
you could say that yer. although it was really a sort of quick eyeball. Hard to really know which cleaned better because both did such a good job but yer.. it was close to squeeky clean on those lower panels. did not expect that..
@@forensicunplugged4295 could be because the lower areas technically get more foam on them due to foam above coming down 👍
@@forensicunplugged4295 Looking back the first was applied 3+ minutes before the second one, and the second got washed off before the first? I would have thought the one that had been on there longer would have done better, but not necessarily. Both incredibly impressive at those dilution ratios
@@matty387 I did lol should have washed the other off (I actually filmed couple of other videos while It was dwelling, too much for my single neuron to cope with :) ). I think though I left them for prolly so long they had both done their thing..
@@forensicunplugged4295 Sorry, I think that came across wrong. I'm not picking holes, just trying to understand how each did what it did. Again, great review showing the benefits of these pre wash products. I'd have never thought they would be so effective at those dilution rates 👌🏼
i personally do not understand why anyone woulduse prefoam that isnt bilt hamber
What soap is this? Can I buy it in USA 🇺🇸
Auto Glanz vision and prism are very good products
You could have used a white cloth to show the dirt :). Anyway, good review
yer or like white cotten circular swabs is good but its very imformal this Miguel.
What soap is this ? Can Is it available here un the USA 🇺🇸
i th
Really interesting, many thanks.
BH autofoam still the daddy though? 😉
its the reigning champion of the first pre wash test.. Ive started the second test now and Ive shot the corrosion testing. but theres about another 5-6 tests to do. (and another couple of months of just using the products on dirty cars like this)
Forensic Unplugged well done. Lots to choose from nowadays. I have been using the Dooka wash Si for prewash and it works well. A great softener before jetting off!
@@DetectoristTom How have you been using it? Through the lance using detergent bottle, or snowfoam bottle, or spray bottle?
Jason Dooka Si? I use it through a 5 litre pump sprayer. I always have the water fairly warm though.
@@forensicunplugged4295 corrosion testing? Do they cause corrosion?
Normal wash and wax would do exactly the same.
I’d love to know where they came up with those product names 😂@ammonyc comes to mind
I came up with the product name "spritzer" for autoglanz about 5 years ago.
Got purchased a bottle 👍🏻
Iv used spritzer at 20:1 its stronger the autoglanz trade tfr in my opinion
2:24 those IK foamer looks like crap. Buy Marolex or Gloria FM10 or FM390
needs a filter change but yer Im not over whelmed it. I tried the marolex down at UK detailing as was not overly impressed with that either. I like the bigger pump sprayers (more than pump foamers) I think the small ones perhaps are all gonna be too much rumpy pumpy. not sure don, might do like the bike pump hack and see if that makes it better.
Nice kitchen
Freedooommm...legend
I will stick with my bucket n sponge and jet wash.
Uneven dwell times - maybe invest in two foamers for tests like these?
👍 great products
"Does they work" still a better use of English than most Americans can do.
Actually no. It is worse than most Americans.
Ah Braveheart, what a movie 😁
New channel?
bout a year old daz.. just little backup channel for potatoe cam low budget productions
Washed the wrong side first
you need to have that pump sprayer filled up all the way so you dont have to pump it a million times
👍 AG
No they does not!
Yeah home alone hahaha
Omg!! Did he say he cleaned it with a sponge and not a wash mitt 😟
virtually all panels have laquer peel. doing a safe wash on a car that needs a full respray is pointless. its already covered in swirls.
foam :D
