    Thank u soo much....much....It was so confusing without having a mental picture of how this procedure is done...!!! Now I got a clear idea where, what and how used... And after seeing the vedio I felt the theory is easy for we under grad😇👍👍👌👌

    All very informative but u made mistake when invested the wax into cilinder, u put the crown right in the middle of cilinder and there is forming heat center..(for a single crown aint big deal) but for a bridge always invest it on sides or at top of the cilinder away from midle(away from heat center).. bcz if you dont follow that rule then you gonna get micro porosities in the metal..and that can lead to allot of other problems latter

    Anyone knows what chemicals can dissolve the casting mold (White stuff)?

    • @เวย์เพโย
      @เวย์เพโย Год назад

      You mean the investment materials? If you are lazy enough to grind it out with the grinder( hand piece) put it in the ultra sonic tank for about 30-60 minutes. But you have to crack it open until you have the cast with bits and pieces of investment here and there first.😢

    • @afnan-gi2nj
      @afnan-gi2nj 3 года назад

      This liner will dissolve when the ring is put in burnout furnace giving space for the investment to expand to compensate for metal shrinkage this space also aid in gases having a space where they can escape to preventing the back pressure. This space is also beneficial in removing the investment from the ring in case of phosphate bonded investment for the recovery of the cast restoration

    All those bubbles formed on the surface of the crown speaks volumes about the crappiness of the investment used for this tutorial. Don't make it seem like you can take your time with the investment, the process needs to be fast or it'll fail. Mixing it manually and then on the vacuum mixer for 60 seconds is too much; 30 seconds should be enough. Use quality investments, they're more expensive but will save you good amounts of time on each restoration.

  • @AlkalineBatterien
    @AlkalineBatterien 6 лет назад

    Wow! There are so man things wrong here! I don't even know where to begin... The wax objects wasn't placed correctly, the investment process was sloppy, the alloy was WAY too hot, which causes this disaster of a surface, three kegs of alloy are enough to make a cast framework denture, let alone a single crown. Also refitting the crown on the die in this state is a strict no-go!

  • @senemicel9766
    @senemicel9766 8 лет назад

    Just one question, would you have to specify to the lab if you wanted space for cement or is it incorporated into the crown regardless? Thanks

    • @AxelBitz
      @AxelBitz 5 лет назад

      You can't specify it because the waxing is made directly on the surface of the model. The process itself will give you enough spacing. What you can ask for is the use of die spacer but it may bring other problems.
