This song is so true. Honestly, all girls are labeled as size 2 perfect girly girls. Not all girls are like that. Magazine Companies think that if they put the image in girls heads, they will automaticaly want to take that image. Not knowing the risks, some girls will even starve themselves trying to become that image. When really, they are already perfect. Some do not realize this, therefore hurting themselves to become the image in the magazine. Some even get plastic surgery. If you stay true to who you are, you will always be perfect.

There's this guy in my friend group, and he's a pretty cool guy. Anyways, to protest the dress code, he wore a tube top and short shorts to school, since they are technically within what a guy can wear at our school. He was protesting the dress code using the logic that anything that applies to girls should apply to all genders.
They didn't end up changing it, but it was fun to watch the adults rumble up to him to be like YOU ARE IN VIOLATION OF THE DRESS CODE, and then he pulls up the official stuff on his phone and is like, "You can't arrest me, officer. I'm not violating any laws."
Be proud of that friend of yours! World needs more people like him, people who are beating the system.

I’m my old school, I’d probably be rated like a seven. I loved this entire episode. I used to be so girly, only because my mom made me. Now I hardly ever wear dresses. I remember when I first stopped wearing dresses. Everyone was shocked. The only people who said something were dumb guys. Some said things like “uh aren’t you like a girly girl or something?”, “woah. You look different.”, and “why are trying to be different?”
I was just trying to be myself. The most frustrating part is that all of the girls used to criticize my dresses, calling them ugly. But when I started being myself, they did nothing. I hate gender stereotypes. I just do. Girls are “supposed” to be thin, wear makeup, like boys, wear pretty dresses, and have their hair all made up beautifully. It makes me so mad.
The reason I said that I’d be rated around a seven is because I’ve had plenty of guys call me cute. Why do we even need ratings for “prettiness” in this world?! The sad part is that there are guys out there like the guys in this episode. All of you are perfect. Don’t change for anyone!
