Great reaction! This song is so emotional! David sings straight into your soul!!
Another couple of songs that are slightly out of their regular wheelhouse are: "A Reason To Fight," (fighting your demons); "The Light" and a great cover/video of Sting's song, "If I Ever Lose My Faith In You." The videos that go with them are also artistic. David Draiman's training as a Jewish cantor gave him the foundation to sing these clean beautiful tones without the distortion. I love his voice no matter what style he's singing. Disturbed are a special band, for sure!
Definitely check live version of TSOS on the Conan show.
It's definitely themed around the Day of the Dead. David wrote it after watching the movie Coco with his young son. Thanks for a great reaction.

Maybe to have a little different spin on Sound of Silence you could do a review on Disturbed version he done live, where he sang a duet with Myles Kennedy from Aiter Bridge. Disturbed has announced they will soon be releasing a new Album it will be little later this year. they are touring now. You should go to a show they are excellent live. Wonderful review I enjoyed it. Nita Strauss (a guitarist for Alice Cooper released a record featuring David Draiman Of Disturbed called " Dead Inside" . Their other release Disturbed has had lately is the cover song of sting song " If I ever lose my faith in you". Thanks again for your review.
If you want to do a live version of something new, try the official live video of this one. Made me sob like a baby. Also, David has a very healthy voice. He works with a vocal coach. If he didn’t, he would be unable to sing by this point.

Saw them live many times, they are incredibly good, I will be seeing them again in May, they are scheduling some festivals and are about to release a new album, David tweeted it was completed and will be coming soon, they should be touring after the release. This tradition is Mexican and is called "Day of the Dead" and consists of remembering those who have already died with edible offerings so that their souls never die. This song is beautiful and I wish more heavy metal bands made songs with positive messages and not so much depressive crap that encourages suicide.

if you haven't reacted to the live video from Conan... you have never reacted to David or Disturbed... No one is saying it is a good performance, we are saying it is an Epic performance, with a voice on loan from God the emotion you see in his eyes will change your life...
Sucks...MOST people will not be remembered past 2 generations 3 tops.. in most cases. A miniscule number of people are marked in history..
1 more thing ... you talk to long, too often, about too little... you have two ears and 1 mouth for a reason.
