This is the original and in my opinion the best of the Fantasmic! productions. Come and join the battle for Mickey's imagination. This video was made from 6 locations around the Rivers of America. This video also include the River Rats warm up band and a segment when the Mark Twain was in rehab.
I think this is the best thing Disney has ever done in any medium.

I watched this show over 50 times. It was amazing how everyone seemed to ooze with this awe of good feelings, not quite certain why. We all have imaginations, dreams... and the key is hearing that when Mickey was down he pops up and says: THIS IS MY DREAM!
For many years it was the best show in LA. To me it still is!

This is what I love about Disneyland. I brought a friend who never experienced Fantasmic and saw this place as a kids park. Once she saw this show she started crying tears of joy and reclaiming her childhood.
every since i was 2 my family has gone to disneyland every year sometimes twice... my dad always made us watch the shows and he would record them. when i got older i started wanting to watch them... and now watching this (im 25 now) it brings tears to my eyes reminding me of my childhood and how precious those times were. im keeping the tradition and taking my son every year and making him watch the shows too =) thanks for posting this!!!
I love this show. Oh, how I love this show. I saw it for the first time when I was 5, in 1992 when it first premiered. I've now seen it over 45 times, and it remains, to this day, one of my favorite things about Disneyland. It's worth the admission price alone. It's incredible. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
Oh goodness. I grew up watching this show. My dad worked for Disney for 15 years. We used to get seats next to the operating booth because my dad was always working. :) Thanks for posting.
when i first saw this, no one was on rides! everyone was watching and it was so amazing! disneyland is amazing and everything they do is amazing! i'm glad walt disney had this wonderful dream for this place! congrats walt, you made all dreams come true! -Teresa, 13.
You cannot experience a Disney park without seeing Fantasmic! If it is absolutely impossible to see due to circumstance (like my last trip to WDW unfortunately) you can miss it, but otherwise, no park goer should miss this awesome show no matter how many times it has been seen!
This is my favorite show at the park. I will never forget the first time I saw it. I cannot wait to go back and see it again. Thanks for posting it.
I had forgotten what the original dragon looked like, and I have to say, I think they did a fantastic job with the restorations/upgrades (when the new dragon works, at least). If I remember correctly, they added more fireworks this past summer, so it looks even better. Best Disney show/spectacle ever created!
This show gives new light to all that have strain from the path and have lost their own imagination. It, actually, makes me smile to see it again.
I love this show. I see it everytime I go to Disneyland. I force my family to sit and watch it because I love it so much. Disneyland always makes me feel like a little kid again, and this show definitely does the exact thing.

Awe when i was younger, I loved to Princess part. I still do! it makes me cry seeing the Little Mermaid part for some reason! Thanks so much for putting this on!!!

I always get a good spot in front of the Rivers of America to watch Fantasmic(like 2 hours before it even starts). I see it like 6times a year. It never gets old. One of the best shows ever.
So true! I love waiting with my family, having someone get food, and just chilling. It's like one big party.
Awesome Video! I remember seeing Fantasmic the first season it came out. It was LOUD. What I hear, Disney had to tone it down because of complaints from the near neighborhoods. It still carries the magic it had, but the impact of the first experience is the best. Thanks for posting this!

It looks like Fantasmic hasn't changed since 2006 because I saw it yesterday and it's the same. I like that.

I always love the originals. I remember watching it when I was little. They can always try and add more stuff, but I agree it's Walt's dream that really matters and the majority that counts will always appreciate it. Kind of like I noticed how the Swiss Family Robison's tree house type thing is gone...I like Tarzan, but the other was a classic that this generation's kids should experience too. Gosh I miss Disneyland and I was just there a month ago lol...

Fantasmic! is a great show. I hope that I will see him onces. It's Fantastic too see the Disneycharacters in this show. It's so sad that we don't have it in Disneyland Resort Paris.
My Marching Band is using this music for their show next year. I"M SO EXCITED!!! I'm playing Mellophone for it, I get lots of melody parts. Its going to be great, especially when we get everything down! Awesome video! Its going on my phone now :)
Omg I loved this when I went!!! Make sure that in your lifetime you make the time to go to Disneyland or any Disney Park because the experience is so worth it especially when you're enjoying it with family or friends :D I live all the way across the country and I plan to go again!!!
That was done when the Mark Twain was in a rehab - so instead of the MT going buy all the characters came out and danced on the stage.

Thank you for posting this! Doesn't do the live show justice (nothing can but actually SEEING it live), but brings back great memories of seeing it myself and taking our family and friends to see it too. The crown jewel of the Disneyland park IMHO.
Doesn't matter what age you are, when you step foot in Disneyland for the first time, standing at the front and looking down Main Street USA at the castle, you're always feeling like a little kid again. Only Disneyland does that.
i was just at disneyland yesterday and i completely forgot that there used to be a jazz band on before the show even started! you're right there's nothing like the original production! thanks so much for posting the vid!!!
Besides the awesome special effects, the best thing about Fantasmic is the music and the magical atmosphere.
i always get chills when i hear the music and get choked up... although i live like 40 minutes away from disneyland and have been there so many times, i still love this. imaginaaaaation! aahhaah

Just went to Disneyland 2 days ago, and Fantasmic is still as great as ever. And I'm so glad Murphy is part of the show. I heard a kid say next to me say, "Mommy, that's a real dragon!"
Went again for the second time in May (during a freak heat wave of course) and this still gave me the goosebumps like it did eight years ago when i was ten. Thanks for uploading this =3
I don't remeber the first time I saw this show but I know that every time I visit Disneyland I have to see Fantasmic...honestly it's my reason for visiting the park, I love spotting out a spot to sit and waiting in the crowd for the show to start with my family...even better the actual show...

But that was like 11 years ago. I wish that was still there, Ursela is my favorite villan. Thats why I love the parade of dreams with the huge Ursela float.
There's something about Fantasmic that makes me a little teary-eyed every time I watch it.

Yeah this show is something else. Unless you're there, you could never truly experience this show. The flares at the end completely light up the darkened sky, and the roar of the crowd is thunderous every night!

What you dont hear is the amazing crowd applause night after night, when experienced, completely blows your mind.
I saw it 12 years ago the first time i went to USA and it was amazing!! Made me cry to remember all of those beautfiull feelings!

In my opinion, and probably a lot of people will agree with me, nothing beats seeing this show live. It's such a mezmerising show when you see it at the park with all the Disney magic surrounding you. If you can make it to Disneyland, you MUST see this show. You won't be disappointed.
I finally caught the Disney World version of this show this weekend. I had to come watch the original again. I think this one is better, hands down. Thanks for sharing the video.

i went to disneyland over thanksgiving break and i saw fantasmic for the first time in 4 years. it brought back good memories :D it was still as magical as ever.

Ya know, you can go to Guest Services and get tickets to sit in the private seating area to view this show. They also serve you cookies and chocolate strawberries, and drinks. It costs about as much as the Park entrance fee, but to some it's worth it. And I must say, as an ex-castmember, I never got tired of this show. I served in the private area many times, and also was cashier in the riverfront restaurants....and you can usually stay seated to watch the fireworks from the private seats.

This is a great video of the show, which is one of the best shows i've ever seen. When I saw it in Orlando is was not as great at the original, so many people talked during it where in Disneyland its dead silence because people care about other viewing it. Also the ship is a lot cooler then fighting on rocks lol. I just love this show!
I seen the other Fantasmic at Walt Disney World, but I never even seen this version of Fantasmic at Disneyland. This is my favorite night show of all time.

I went to Disneyland the day before Thanksgiving. The crowds were unusually thin, and I went on everything good, AND I saw this AND the fireworks display after it AAAAAND a Christmas parade hours previous to Fantasmic!!! God I love Disneyland/Cali Adventures!! PIZZA PORT FTW!!
