Years later he called me out of the blue wanting permission to write and pay for me a life insurance policy, it wouldn’t cost me anything. It’s boosting his numbers. I told him I can’t because that is a felony. Hey got upset not understanding where I was coming from. We have been through it all and I look at your family as if they were my flesh and blood. His mother was like a mom to me. His wife’s family really took to me. Anyways he got upset and I didn’t hear from him again for years. I said it’s okay. Shows what a true friend is. I let him know during our conversation that how would I face his wife, kids and family if he got caught and went to prison and knew I participated in helping him get there. He called all of our friends wanting to do this. Wasn’t going to fly with me.
