I'm at the same stage as you, and to be honest I've also been on that stage where it was never a thought to think for a Plan B, it always felt discouraging, but now when I've lost 5 attempts, I genuinely feel that a Plan B brings a lot of mental relaxation and freedom to perform better in UPSC, it release the burden and helps you ace this exam. Took me a while to understand this.

Whatever you said completely resonates with what I have been thinking over from my last 2 attempts. In my past 4 years, I have felt like being trapped in a vicious cycle from which there is no exit. You are totally a different individual with a lot of self doubt and low self esteem if you face repeated failures. Thank you for giving a clarity on this.

Truly said yr...isolation itna ho jata h ki man hi ni karta kisi se bat karne ka , jab logo se milte h to ajeeb lagta h ...samaj hi ni aata bat kya kare...This was my 3rd attempt ...and now I will start my plan B ....because mentally itna exhaust ho chuki hu...ab himmat nhi h ....and lastly kudos to you girl...I can understand the situation in which u r...I m also on the same boat.... don't know what to do....how to do...just searching for some light to come and take me away from darkness.....

Yeh mera 1st attempt tha graduation se he padhna suru kr diya now 4 saal chale gye.88 marks bn rhe the pr nhi hua .now i will also prepare for bpsc and uppsc. Mam i can totally relate with you.

This was my 1st attempt, but really sitting 2 years without any social interaction has destroyed my mental health. All these sacrifices resulted in nothing. Now I am going to look for other exams, sitting inside a room for next 2 years is not my cup of tea.
Your mental health is the utmost priority. I believe every form of hardwork is returned by the universe in a certain way, if not in this , in some other form it will be reciprocated. And have faith, you will make it sooner or later. It was your first attempt, there is much more to it. All the best!

Btech-IIIT; MBA-IIM; have 3 years of work experience post mba, have given 2024 pre with 6 months preparation without job. Will give my 2nd and last attempt at 2025. If not successful will return to corporate.

Or sab chije bar bar padhne me Mann nahi lagta , ek peak par aake performance and mindset bhi lower down ho jata hai. 😊

Can u make constant reality check vids, 2 attempts gone especially this time ruk gaya with 1 mark. I had numb eyes, was expecting to write mains. But now I realized I studied but time pass krte krte, i never studied more than 6 hr effectively. Ab itna bda dhakka laga h ki, trying to put 10 hr plus effective study
No worries. You can have productivity apps like ypt, forest. They track down the time that you really put to study. In the next video, I would address how to maintain accountability.Right now maintain 8-10 hrs, which is enough otherwise you’ll have burnout. And the no. Of hours we put increases as the exam approaches.
