- Some improvisation on the vibes, which I haven't played in over a year. Still played okay, but a little sloppy for sure.
The vibraphone is a Yamaha YV520C, and I am using the Promark PBM Bill Molenhof Series mallets.
It was absolutely fantastic to watch you perform this piece… Bravo bravo bravo!
Man your vibes solos are killer! Love it! Keep it up I want to see more!

Excellent.
Nice improvisation. I'd recommend you to listen the Modern Jazz Quartet version of this tune.
Oh nice The Bumblebee quote, you worked that in really well. Fantastic solo
Great playing :D
Well done ! Right feeling troughout the tune, and your improv is top notch. Great.
BTW, what play along do you use ? If available, could you give us the link ?

That's some real practice there. Beautiful!
I'm waiting for Ella to join you
Мне очень понравилось 🥰 ты великолепен!
Sounds amazing!
I have a quick question:
I recently bought the same model vibraphone, and I was wondering if you do any four mallet work on yours? I know it’s a compact vibe meaning it’s going to be a bit smaller in size. If you do practice four mallets, do you find that it’s more difficult on this model?
If you’re used to playing on vibraphones with the standard bar width, the smaller bars can take a while to get used to. I do practice with four mallets, and I found that after a couple of weeks I was able to switch between the smaller and regular-sized bars pretty easily.
The slight bulging of the vibraphone makes me uncomfortable... Great improv bro!
I’ve seen much worse before... not enjoyable
is it for more reverb?? idk
This sounds awesome! I like the tone you get from the vibes. My one suggestion would be to focus on phrasing, as some of the notes sound like dotted eight sixteenths as opposed to swing. Other than that, fantastic stuff!
What is the vibraphone you are playing? (Brand and model and price) thanks.
At the top it says it's a Yamaha YV520C. They cost about thirty-five thousand dollars.
@@4Stanzas think you meant thirty five hundred dollars lol
@@xibbit6322 Lol, no mistake, just looking to see if anyone would notice.
