I literally bought this ammo today for the first time and could not find any decent info on the round. You guys got to me right on time haha thank you! Gel testing would be super sweet with this ammo if at possible. Kudos from Ohio here
I’ve had good results with Fiocchi ammo as well with a Browning x-bolt rifle. I also like Fiocchi in my 9 mm handguns especially when I spend a lot of time at the range.
GFL has been supplying ammo to IT armed forces for decades so they know how to make good stuff. Even if this commercial load is not 556 spec Ive been using it for years along with S&B 55g for competitions without issues.
Best ammo on the market I’ve shot so far. With my AR it puts them within a quarter at 100, and for example PMC bronze i just shot a TRASH 4” group today. Will never not hunt coyotes with Fiocchi, I’ll plink with everything else. Thanks for the video.
I’m a Fiocchi fanboy. Nothing I’ve seen comes close to the price/performance aspect of this brand. I found 50 rds of polymer tip fragmenting 55 gr for $20. I also bought 1000 rds of 124 gr 9mm for only $324 and that stuff is beautiful.
Fiocchi 55 Gr FMJ BT is amazing ammo! I get it at Dicks for 69.99 for 200 rounds . Thats their sale price they run at the end of the month usually . Never had a fail, never had flyers. Its incredibly accurate
I just recently purchased my first AR-15. I was hoping that this ammo was decent ammo. This is mostly the only 223/5.56 ammo that is left because people are buying everything because the virus. I don’t remember what 223 ammo I used many years ago when I used to have a mini 14. I know Fioccihi sounds Italian but the box says made in Ozark , Missouri. I guess that’s why it’s common here in Arkansas . I plan to get my new Springfield Armory Saint rifle out on the range real soon.
I just bought a 50 rd box of this stuff along with other types of ammo to test out my fresh build looks like this ammo should shoot the best out of what I got
I'd like to start seeing velocity from a 16" AND 24" barrel. You could conceivably load a round that would exit a 16" at 3000, and a 24" at 2700, by manipulating powder. I want the whole picture.
I have gone through about 3000 rounds of Fiocchi ammo in three different calibers, 2 handgun and one rifle, and do not remember one failure of any kind. And it can be shot better than I can shoot. And, I've shot it sub moa. So, when's the next sale?
The around 2800 performance from a 16" barrel is good to know , but will the suppressor add the velocity some ?I guess it won't make that much difference but you guys are the suppressor experts so I thought you'd know. Honestly I wondered if the green box was any good I bought 2 boxes at Dick's last week because that was all they had , a good choice by accident .
If your zero on the rifle was 100 or maybe even 200 the rifle may have been closer to your POI. That said, the group would have most likely opened up, but If it didn’t open up, Sir you have a tackdriver combo with that rifle and load. I would have liked to see this same done at 100, 200, oh and what make of and twist, and chamber is the barrel. Cause if it doe’s twice or 3 times the size of that group, I want the same barrel. (Or several) LOL. Oh, and Good shooting too BTW
You want to see some really strange gel test results??? Try 55 gr FMJBT out of a 1/12 twist 20" barrel because I doubt you can find any old Harrington & Richards 1/14 twist OEM barrels!!!
Although I do respect your opinion/choice in now switching your preferred choice of ammunition, I will make an observation.... it's become quite obvious several other popular gun channels now almost exclusively use Fiocchi, both rifle/pistol AND suppressed/unsuppressed. This is simply pure saturation into the US market via different outlets. I almost sometimes give in and feel I need to try some but on the other hand feel that's exactly the point of all this random exposure. I wonder if my previous statements has anything to do with Fiocchi recently being bought out (or in the process). Sorry, just had to get that out there.
Landon Bullock to qualify the following statement-I hate 1-4x Optics. The Nikon offering is badass. Full video on the optic has been a long time in the making (8 months) it should be ready soon
Joe Dirt i'm with you 100% look at his old videos on the Wolf ammo now he's calling it bottom of the barrel and yes that's all I shoot is wolf steel and brass never a hick up!
Times change, I always reserve the right to change my mind- we have since been involved with a lot of silencer testing. Wolf is less compatible. Simple truth. No smack on wolf, I have friends that work there. I use their AK ammo all the time, but if you are looking for general use ammo, then this is my current suggestion. Read the description
Joe Dirt it is spelled Fiocchi...also is it a commercial if he is informing consumers of a products performance? Forgive me but I thought that was kind of the point.
Just because it is a lower grade, doesn’t mean that it isn’t decent ammo. The video you are referring to I assume is “Wolf Performance Ammunition: Myths dispelled”. That video simply goes into the Myths about shooting the ammo. I don’t see how you can compare the two? I just watched it again to be sure, and I stand by the opinions in that video.
Chinnrott Chinn yes wolf gold is great! accuracy depends on the shooter, what kind of barrel you are using and if the barrel has a copper coating from warm up shots
my300zx96 absolutely not. My guns go without cleaning until they quit. In this particular instance I shot about 8K through the gun suppressed/un and then it started to malfunction, so I pulled another carrier from a gun that is out of circulation (Bacon’s safe) and kept going. Thought about bringing in an intern to clean guns.
I agree - ammo boxes should have velocities shown for different length barrels! Thanks for sharing your review :)
I ran 300 rounds the other weekend no hiccups through my 16” and tbh for the price this stuff is great
Fiocchi is legit ammo!🇺🇸🇺🇸👍
VSO that ammo out of the box is gorgeous especially for the price. Also has performed flawlessly for me, great stuff. Thanks for the video.
I literally bought this ammo today for the first time and could not find any decent info on the round. You guys got to me right on time haha thank you! Gel testing would be super sweet with this ammo if at possible. Kudos from Ohio here
Glad to hear we were able to help out
The VSO Gun Channel much appreciated
I really like this ammo, very accurate and functions great out of my 16 inch gun
And you’re correct, all my suppressors and rounds also increase around 20-30fps
Been shooting and loving Fiocchi for years. Shotgun, rifle, and pistol cartridges.
I’ve had good results with Fiocchi ammo as well with a Browning x-bolt rifle. I also like Fiocchi in my 9 mm handguns especially when I spend a lot of time at the range.
Have used Fiocchi .223,both in 55gr SP, and 55gr V Max. Both are absolutely unbelievably accirate.
GFL has been supplying ammo to IT armed forces for decades so they know how to make good stuff.

Wow what Democrat & Biden inflation has done, I just bought the same ammo at $40 a box !
My savage 12 fv consistently shoots groups under an inch at 100 yards with this stuff. It's one of my favorite loads for the money.
I ran 200 rounds on my Windham dissipator. My groupings tend to hit centre right but there’s not one malfunction.
Just bought some the other day and it’s good stuff,, stock up!!
Fiocchi 55 Gr FMJ BT is amazing ammo! I get it at Dicks for 69.99 for 200 rounds . Thats their sale price they run at the end of the month usually . Never had a fail, never had flyers. Its incredibly accurate
Check out sgammo.com, they have this ammo for $49.95 for 200 rounds.
I wouldn't be surprised if Dick's was jacking up the price just to fuck AR owners and/or keep them out of the store.
😳

I use this with the Hornady 55gr vmax bullets. Does a good job on coyotes. Saves me a lot of money so win win.
I just bought a 50 rd box of this stuff along with other types of ammo to test out my fresh build looks like this ammo should shoot the best out of what I got
So how did It go?
I shoot a lot of fiocchi! It's great ammo for the price, what's the twist rate of your AR? 1-7?
I am pretty sure it’s a 1:8
You should do a video to review or discuss the .224 valkyrie
Just on the topic of ammo
I am waiting on one.
I'd like to start seeing velocity from a 16" AND 24" barrel. You could conceivably load a round that would exit a 16" at 3000, and a 24" at 2700, by manipulating powder. I want the whole picture.
What would you recomend, fiocchi or federal American eagle? Also what's the best self defense 223 ammo? Thanks
Fiocchi is quality ammo i dont hesitate on a box/case
I have gone through about 3000 rounds of Fiocchi ammo in three different calibers, 2 handgun and one rifle, and do not remember one failure of any kind. And it can be shot better than I can shoot. And, I've shot it sub moa. So, when's the next sale?
I’d imagine the velocity is measured in a bolt action, the SD would be much tighter but I get it’s .223. I’m curious on a bolt gun
Very good enjoyed the video
It's good ammo but a half inch group at 50 yards doesn't mean you're shooting sub MOA.
Great ammo. I use 77gr.
interesting info. totally thought suppressors limited range. fun fact for the day
The around 2800 performance from a 16" barrel is good to know , but will the suppressor add the velocity some ?I guess it won't make that much difference but you guys are the suppressor experts so I thought you'd know. Watch the whole video
The VSO Gun Channel lol, that's what I was just going to reply with.. "this is why we can't have nice things" Nobody pays attention
If your zero on the rifle was 100 or maybe even 200 the rifle may have been closer to your POI. Yeah buddy!

Good video Spector. How's the Wombat?
He is a busy guy. Hopefully he will be back on video soon.
The VSO Gun Channel combat wombat trying to take the plastic handguards off that rifle and getting so pissed is my favorite video you ever did haha
Sherrod Brown is upset with the sticker on that lead launcher
What is a Boat Tail cartridge? I ask because I have Fiocchi 55 grain .223 V-Max ammo?
Thanks just ordered 200 pounds.
this is also how I order my ammo, by the pound. However once a gets here we measured by the inch🙃
I always assumed the decrease in velocity in COD games was simulated subsonic loads.
Same.

I know it's an old video just a heads up the USA isn't the whole world. But besides that comment great review
Aguila ammo is good too.
Most ammunition is now really expensive
Whoa whoa whoa, but about them A4 clones now ;)
Only 16" guns.... Please haha
how do you feel about the nikon blackforce 1-4x ?
Landon Bullock to qualify the following statement-I hate 1-4x Optics.
The Nikon offering is badass. Full video on the optic has been a long time in the making (8 months) it should be ready soon
Hitting Small Prairie Dogs at 250 yds with the 50 gr ammo...
If you are zeroed at 100 the bullet probably hasn't risen to the zero yet.
I zero at 50
Adam Costilla like I said, I Shot that group at 1power, probably didn’t put it in the reticle in the right place.
cool
I grabbed 3 50 round boxes today and had 13 rounds not firing
Really? What was the method of failure? Was the gun a factory gun?
The VSO Gun Channel primary weapon systems mk1
Is that a suppressor?? Doesnt a suppressor affect velocity
wallyworld say's no more
That rifle look just like mine
I get .250" moa at 250 yds with tula ammo using a red dot from amazon, fiocchi is over priced pot metal
What glass is that?
Cory Hershberger Nikon Black Force 1000, Full video soon
#fiochicomercial

I just don't care for the low vel...
Too small a sample size to prove anything other than you're promoting one brand.
Read the description.
50 yards no no no...this test needs to be done at 100yards
Whatever
Well you can do it
จักเว้าอิหยังบุหือ
50 yards is not impressive at all
How can you call Wolf ammo bottom of the barrel look at your Wolf ammo videos! And yes I shoot wolf ammo.
Just because it is a lower grade, doesn’t mean that it isn’t decent ammo.

It’s whatever midwest put in their gun. I believe it to be a criterion
The VSO Gun Channel did you shoot the gun cold after cleaning for this test?
my300zx96 absolutely not. My guns go without cleaning until they quit. In this particular instance I shot about 8K through the gun suppressed/un and then it started to malfunction, so I pulled another carrier from a gun that is out of circulation (Bacon’s safe) and kept going.
