  • This review features Leupold's BX-4 Range HD TBR/W 10x42 rangefinding binoculars. These binos boast the optical clarity and durability you expect from Leupold with the convenience of a fast, reliable rangefinder built-in. The system relies on the DNA engine for accuracy out to distances of 2400 yards. These rangefinding binoculars are backe dby Leupold's Lifetime Optics Guarantee and a Two-Year Electronics Guarantee. Todd Helms has been field testing these binos on spring turkey hunts and has not been disappointed.

I wish we were able to get an inside view of the Binos

First half of video hasn’t got a single image of the view down the binos. You’re also repeating yourself a lot too.

Todd next time you should go over the different functions, talk more about what they can do instead of how little you’ve used them. How much wind do the compensate for or how about how to replace the battery when they die, bow mode vs the different rifle caliber group modes. I love that you reviewed these because I to am a Leupold guy and have been waiting for them but you could have put more information in this video in less time instead of repeating the same unrelated stuff.

Dang, what’s the mic you’re using, is the real question. Your shirt is showing the high speed of the wind, without wind noise. 👍

Hard pass. The actual optics on these is inferior to the regular BX-4 so that's disappointing. It's not top tier glass.

Definitely wouldn’t buy, warranty is not solid. Glass is great, but red display is terrible for bright light.

I'm also a fan of Leupold but worry about their disposable throw away rangefinders and rangefinder binoculars after only their 2 year limited warranty and after their electronics fail and it's a fact that all electronics do fail. This is why I call them disposable throw away electronics if they don't have the Vortex, Burris, Athlon or Maven's lifetime warranty including their electronics. Leupold has a lifetime warranty on their gun specific illuminated optics and electronics that physically attaches to the gun but not the rangefinders which only have a 2 year warranty on their electronics. At least it's still a heavyweight Leupold bX4 binoculars after the electronics fail after 2 years so maybe not a total disposable throw away Leupold in this case. I'm personally waiting for Maven's binoculars with rangefinder. Their rangefinder already has best in class glass which looks clearer than the Vortex Razor and Athlon Cronus rangefinder binoculars.
Good news with Leupold is they offer better than employee discount pricing for a replacement after it fails after it's 2 year warranty is up and over came straight from Leupold as I already inquired about buying a Leupold rangefinder about after warranty repairs they junk it and offer you better than employee discount for a new one for another 2 years and then clocks ticking again.
    Just stating the facts.

While I agree and I like vortex warranty; I have to use it constantly.
I always get a replacement product. But they’re always malfunctioning.

Leupold is known for just replacing any malfunctioned binos no matter the age ir make or model. They've done it for a long time. I've seen countless replaced with no issue and I my self have had 3 replaced without even asking for a replacement. Even when warranty expires. Leupold actually stands by their products regardless what yku may think. No clue why they don't just slap lifetime warranty on them but I've yet to see a legitimate problem go ignored from the company
Vortex is nice buy they're also cheaply made. Vortex charges as much as other brands but the cost to make is low low. This is how they're able to replace any and everything and they have lots of issues but since they're easily replaced it doesn't matter much go ppl. I can tell you leupold will deliver the same customer service if abd when it's needed

Great, but you talked forever but never showed what the hell they look like through the camera or how the rangefinder performed. Jeez
