Being from Texas, i found out a long time ago to put a teaspoon or tablespoon of regular sugar in your mouth for spicy foods. Water only aggravates and milk/ice cream only ease's the burning........sugar really does work.

Growing up in the southwest of the United States has taught me how to deal with spicy foods that are too hot for even my taste and I've always relied on a few wedges of juicy limes to wash my mouth and gums immediately after while keeping my mouth closed 😀😋

Ghost Peppers are kind of the cut off. They will blow your face off with the heat, but they actually have very good flavor. Pretty much everything hotter than that is just too much heat and not much flavor. I mean, I'm sure there's a flavor profile in that Carolina Reaper...somewhere...but all I've ever gotten is the destructive heat. If I was doing this, I'd be sure to bring my own milk/dairy as I wouldn't trust that it was going to be there...and it wasn't, they only had water which makes it worse. Great vid, thanx!
