Swirling the bottom greens was a super idea. It turned out slightly stripey which is lovely. Great result.
A hint getting the aloe gel out of the leaf , I trim down the sides to get rid of thorns but leave it long , then slice off one side of skin then use a large metal spoon to scrape along the insides of both parts of skin to get every last little bit into my jug .....I have severe carpal tunnel and I’m dangerous with knives so do this with anything I can to avoid cutting myself ...... I didn’t realise until today that I had missed this video ! 👍🇦🇺

This soap is so pretty! I prefer your watermelon wave soap instead of a literal watermelon soap.

Ariane, thank you so much for sharing another beautiful creation with us especially using fresh ingredients! I am obsessed with Aloe... are used to spend a lot of time in the summer in Florida with my grandparents and they grew aloe in their garden so I would use it on my sunburns as I am extremely fair skinned and as I got older I learned to use it on my acne and also on my scars from picking my acne as a teenager. I’ve seen what wonderful things they can do for my skin and now that I’m dabbling in making my own soaps, I wanted to use fresh aloe but haven’t been sure exactly how to incorporate it because it comes in so many forms. There Aren’t a lot of current uploads showing the use of aloe and this in particular has been a really wonderful one. Thank you again for always sharing your creations and inspiring us!
I was so loving the color the watermelon puree had when it was that vibrant red color
I don’t know why I had soap making videos so relaxing considering the noise of the stick blender..but it’s so relaxing watching all the things melt and Change colors then imagining how they smell just leaves me relaxed and in a pleasant mood.
When you cut it, it makes me so joyful! The watermelon waves are glorious
The people who didn't like this video obviously have a case of watermelon envy, another beautiful soap, just wish we had Smellovision to smell it too!

With the aloe is easy if you only take off one side of the peel and scratch the other side with a spoon. It come out easily and in one step.

Arianne, I used to dry the aloe vera scraps and used them as colorant of other soaps.
I also make soaps with fresh Aloe vera & fresh Neem leaves (both from my garden).. I just remove the side spikes of the aloe but include the skin as well 👍
You can also try soaps with turmeric & honey..

I thought fruit/veggie additives turn brown in soap. Yours had no discoloration. They look awesome

Aloe has a irritating yellow substance that needs to drain out first before removing the pulp. It grows here like weeds. Love your videos!!
