We have the same thinking process and I love that. I have one year experience as a drilling engineer and I’m currently contemplating MSc in drilling engineering for the same exact reasons as you.
Thanks for your video. I thought about getting master in petroleum as well but with the business cycles I thought risk is a flip of a coin to find a job when you graduate. Those who graduated in 2021 had a much harder time to get jobs and full time employment compared to those graduated in 2022.
How difficult was it? Is working and studying (with thesis) at the same time manageable? I'm planning to take a masters degree and work part time to cover some of the expenses. Before I enroll, I want to hear your thoughts first. Let's say I work some days 8am-5pm then go to classes at 7pm-10pm. Is it manageable to finish the course in a span of 2 years living like that?

I have completed my graduation in petrochemical engineering and I have to do PG,which specialization will be more effective...can u give some idea about that
Sister I am from Nepal 🇳🇵, I just Finished geology in bachelor in science and I want to pursue master degree in petroleum engineering.. how can I apply in university .. please help me sister 🙂
It depends on what you really want to do. If you want to refine your technical skills then pursue MS. if you want to pursue more business then get an MBA degree. It all depends on your why and what motivates you in this industry.
I want to pursue a career in petroleum engineering and specialize in drilling engineering but I’m scared we won’t be of value any moment soon because of the world’s transition to renewable energy sources.please make a video elaborating clearly and saving some of us the our precious lives .I learnt just 5% of the ocean has been explored since, meaning there are more deposits to be found across the remaining 95% of the ocean. If since the inception of the use of petroleum we managed to survive on just 5% then broadening our exploration scope for reservoirs across other parts of the ocean 🌊 could just as well sustain us and make us valuable and still highest paid for about another century…I really don’t know ..I’m just confused That’s all I keep telling myself 🤦🏻♂️ Please help let’s analyze this I really need to be certain
Availability is endless for our lifetime, but accessiblity is quite tough and , moreover now the industry is down for staffs , although there is exceptional intake in labours , staffs requirements are in all time low , might suggest some other course , or if you so interested in these take top 1st college with placements, and try hard to get placed in campus or else you are doomed
