If this is something you are interested in I would suggest building a tree on Ancestry and doing their dna test (they have the largest database). Or you can also upload your results from 23&Me to MyHeritage (Personally I prefer Ancestry). The ethnicity estimates (remember they are just estimates) may be similar on each site, but you will have access to so much more information with Ancestry. I have a degree in History, being able to trace my husband's Loyalist ancestors (even some back to the Mayflower pilgrims 1620) and others to historical events in Canada and throughout the Commonwealth just makes everything more understandable, personal and relatable. My parents were immigrants, their families split apart by war, dna has helped me to fill in the gaps about my grandparents and the world they lived in.
