It would be interesting for your bio kids to do the test. That way, they can see what parts of the world they are from. ❤
@@claremonea872 I think it is very important and interesting. Especially because they have so many siblings.
I would love to see you guys, with Tristan, start teaching each of them about their heritage. Have a special day where you learn about their customs, try their foods and maybe even the way they dress.
U know crystal and Aaron both talk about how family traditions are so memorable for them. Maybe give that to your children like the Miller Fam does

The Miller family does indeed always try to embrace special traditions of the heritage of the adoptees.
@lindadriessen9027 that's true. I think most of them though would feel special having a day all about them. Including the bio kids. One thing from being from this part of the world is that we don't really have our celebrate our culture. Been in arizona my entire life, have a lot of Norwegian, Scandinavian and Irish ancestors, but have no traditions that came over here with them. They were all lost
@@janalynnjohnson9671I know what you mean. My family came from a colony in Asia to Europe and we cherished our traditions and heritage, fusioning the customs of daily life as much as we could.
What I appreciate with the Miller Fam, that they give ALL their children the choice.

I think Liam and Ryland should be able to make their own decision on if they want to do the test or not.

I think in a previous video it was said that Bella would be open to it if the boys wanted to. I can't remember where it was said but I have a vague memory, Crystal had asked all 3 of them and none of them seemed to want to do it. It's a decision that the 3 of them will make together, and if right now they don't feel ready that's ok.
You should get the kids with Native American tribes found out and enroll them if possible. It could help them financially, medically and a lot of other ways too! My son is only 15% but he gets free healthcare at his tribes health center. If he was 30% or more he would qualify for a yearly percap.
What kind of tribe is he in?
I need to get a dna test 😂 my grandma on my dads side says I’m Native American but won’t tell me from where 🙄
It doesn't quite work like that when origins stem back to Mexico, which most of her kids with that link do. Even if they did connect to a tribe in the states, they would also have to have info from bios. Maybe stop suggesting things you have no real knowledge of. A DNA test is not enough to get tribal enrollment. Ridiculous 🤦🏽♂️

Does Aurora understand yet that Jamie is her birth mother? I know you have been open about the whole process. One of my absolute favorite stories because of how God ordered your steps through it all and how you knew while being a surrogate. Such a beautiful story! ❤
Crystal and Aaron you both are FANTASTIC parents!!! You two go great lengths for these kids and it shows!! Your love for these kiddos makes them shine so Bright!! I love that the love for your adopted kiddos and the love for your bio kidos show no differently!!! I really admire your parenting, you two are hands down the most amazing parents. If nobody has told either of you today, Crystal you're a Fantastic mother and doing the most wonderful job rasing your kiddos! Aaron you're doing an AMAZING job and doing a wonderful job raising your kiddos!!! Like i previously said you both are amazing parents and it really shows!!! My husband and i watch your's and the crazy middles channel together and i must say its my favorite part of the day!!! Watching your channels has brought my husband and i a lil bit closer and it may not be something that is serious but it definitely is great to spend that 45 minutes to an hour with my husband watching your family grow each and every day!!! Do Jamie and Melinda have the same bio-mom? If so does she special needs like their father and Jamie? I love that Jamie and Melinda are so close and have a good relationship with their bio-dad.

Right? She's 8 but also has an intellectual disability (but still super smart) but they don't hide it.
I think Aurora was a bit too young to understand - perhaps revisit it privately with her when she is older
My dad and I just did 23&me and ancestry just to see where we come from and instead found out that my dad's father is not who we thought was for 50 years! Come to find out my dad, myself, and my siblings should have a whole different name then we do now. I understand bellas hesitation because we weren't expecting the results we got at all and it does effect you, even if doesn't change the bonds you have with loved ones.
Does Ariana still keep in touch with her bio mom? Does Aurora know that Jamie is her bio mom?

I can relate Alex. I don't know but a few things about my bio dad or his family. But I always thought I was mostly German. Turns out I'm zero German. 😂😂😂
what's the difference between indigenous american and native american? Alex's said he was Native, Brody's said he was Indigenous. I thought those were the same thing?
A question about kiddos with Native American ancestry....are you trying to get that part of their ancestry identified and get them registered with Native American Government? This is so important to our American history.

Coming from a former Dutch colony, we know how important it also is for medical history.
Considering those roots go back to Mexico for most, that's not really an option. Y'all seriously need to educate yourself. Just because DNA says native doesn't mean you can enroll. There's way more to it than that. It gets more complicated if it's in another country (Mexico, Canada, south america).
You also just can't 'register'. You need to be a decent percentage to be considered, as well as what another comment said it could be from Mexico, Canada, etc.
Might be wrong but I thought if kids are Native Americans they have to be placed with Native American

Most of downtown/midtown is on very high ground and would be unaffected by the high water. Most of Atlanta is relatively unscathed. I imagine she is safe!

What if Ryland and Liam decided they wanted to do it. Are you giving Bella that day into whether or not they do it or can the boys have a say into that as it’s their life too? Just asking.
Fr I don’t think it’s fair if Bella gets to be in control of the boys doing it. They are their own people.
They talk about it in a video about how the boys aren't ready to do it either and that Bella is open to it when they are

The boys could do it without impacting Bella though - it sounds like Bella doesn’t want to know is what relation she has to Ryland and Liam because she’s concerned about the parentage - if the boys decide to take it but she doesn’t, that information still isn’t known

It was good to have a recap. I remember watching most of these but I didn't remember. It's surprising how many of them have Native American heritage. I did Ancestry but now I want to do 23and Me. I wonder if it will come out the same. Thank you for sharing Aurora's heritage. It would've been a surprise if Jaimie and Melinda didn't show up.😊

The boys are aloud to do a 23&me test when ever they want too. Bella isn’t or won’t stop them from doing so, they just ain’t ready in doing one just now! 23&me test is a scary thing to do because you don’t want to be hurt or in shock with the results, so for some people it takes time and that’s ok and it’s ok if they don’t ever take one.
Y’all are the most beautiful and amazing family I’ve ever seen have a brother just adopted and I have another one right now and we can’t wait to get to him

Are you not concerned at all about the reports of DNA harvesting through these tests? I wanted to do one until I read more on that.
Id love to do something like this as i was brought up in foster care from as young as 2 . Also, do you guys talk to aurora about jamie being her bio mum? Just curious how that works but also dont wanna be disrespectful. Sending love from Australia ❤

IS YOU HEALTH OK Crystal? Your behaviour has been chaotic the last couple of vidoes (doing cartwheels and throwing yourself on the bed in the intro) and your mood is extremely elevated along with what seems like pressured speech (hypomanic symptoms). Also, your hands have been shaking in several videos (e.g. Alex's birthday party). I love your family and hope that your health is ok.

It has already been said in a vlog a while ago that she is open for her brother to do one. She very well knows she can’t stop her brothers from doing one and that’s why she’s open for them to do it when they want too.

Is Ariana still in touch with her birth mother? If Jake is still interested in finding siblings I would recommend he do an Ancestry dna test. They seem to have more of a database vs 23andme. I did 23andme and got nothing closer than 4-5th cousins. Ancestry got me a lot closer relatives.
I've been wanting to do one of these tests, but don't know which to do. How do you decide between 23 and me or ancestry?
@@bonniechalmers1542 I read an article this weekend that 23andme might file for bankruptcy. If they do, then everyone's DNA results could be sold to third parties. I would definitely hold off on 23andme for now.
@@bonniechalmers1542I honestly wouldn't do any of those tests. It just came out that they've saved the DNA of people from the 23 and me tests and there's connections to epstein island with it

I heard the other DNA test have better results in finding relatives. Have you tried different ones.?
I've resesrched it and the Ancestry DNA test seems to be the more accurate DNA test.
Really preferred Lucas‘s haircut back when you were going over the DNA to the way he wears it today. It’s nice that the kids get snow if there is a relative out there or at least they get some history of their background..🥰❤️
There is never no rush in doing a 23&Me test, or never have to do one at all. Family is family to those you know as family and nothing more, and as for Bella not being ready to do one is totally ok and so…understandable not that anything will change between her and her brothers but sometimes you just want to keep it as that and not know anything then what you already know. 🙌🏻❤️

Aurora and I are birthday twins!!! For your Native American kids; get them tested for their tribe and hooked up with tribal leaders. Also, look through scholarships for Native Americans for college.

Hi Krystal I am an adoptee from Australia and I used a Facebook search angel. They can help find birth parents without a close DNA match surely there would be similar groups in the US that could help you find any of the kids that want to find an unknown birth parent. They usually don’t charge adoptees and do amazing work. I now know of all my family on both sides and will be meeting some half siblings soon.
I just did 23 and me. I’m 99.6% European. 51% British/Irish and 38% French/german.
I love that you're helping the kids get their genetic information. The unknown has always been scary for me as a former foster/adopted kid. Especially as I'm getting older and don't have medical answers. I unfortunately have a lot of different medical issures. Some day I want to get a 23 and me done. Right now it isn't in our monthly budget. I hope the answers will help them someday.

Have you thought about do Ancestry with the kids that want to also. That is a very popular one also that came out before 23 and me. Might find more for the kids that might want more and time has passed so siblings/family may have taken it when they got older. I did Ancestry but thinking about doing 23 and me too.

For the native american ones you shoukd try to take them to powwows and roundances. Im from the nakoda sioux tribe from Canada and being indigenous is a very beautiful culture. Im sure if you look into some of the culture they would love it. Thats why ive commented on this page and beyond crazy to make indigenous tacos with the fried bannock for that reason

if your kids really wanted to know birth parents 3rd AND 4th cousins are fairly close to the family and may be able to point you in the right direction of who the parents are just thought id let you know for the ones who really want to know

I’m looking at wanting to get a test done on me I know nothing about my dad’s side of the family. I was put into foster care at 4 and placed with my maternal grandma a year later so I know a lot more about my mom’s side. I do know I have two half sisters and a half brother from my dad’s side but the two I talk to don’t know much about our dad neither.
Have you checked on updated results, mine chaned quite a bit with more matches. Still trying to find who my mums bio father is

How awful for Arianna to have a camera shoved in her face whilst having the first contact with her Mum in however long. Why add more trauma to these already traumatised children?
I appreciate that you have done so good in taking children from the system and into your home but there's a time and place for the camera and that really wasn't one of them. You share alot of personal information on all the children, no matter their age. Does that not concern you? That we the public know FAR too much about your children!
She asked Ariana if she wanted to call her mother and im sure if she did not want to they wouldnt have. Im sure they talked about it beforehand.

I’m not sure if you were aware by people that have ashkenazim Jewish in n them is more likely to get breast cancer. So the kids have to tell their doctor that they have the trait.
