Flown on the KLC ERJ-175 many times (as you can tell from my channel pic), usually only an hour flight between my home city of Norwich and Amsterdam and KLC has some of the best legroom I've ever had on a short haul flight!
Also I'm pretty sure I've been on PH-EXH too :).

Have you been on any of the Fokkers before they were retired? I only managed to fly on PH-KZS.
not not all of them. Not by a long shot. I'm just happy to have had a couple of nice flights on them :-)
Do you 'collect' aircraft types like that?
As in the registrations? Yes, as I can keep track of the exact different planes I've been on.
Those wing tips are so beautiful!
I remember seeing that E175+ refueling at the local airport before heading to Europe on its delivery flight

First time visiting for spotting actually myself but we will no doubt go up on to the Terrace.
I came through Amsterdam May / June for a trip to Chicago and think the airport is great and KLM just love flying with now.
There is talks about going round to the famous polderban on our trip, we know a few dutch spotters out there so going to see if can grab a lift with them or we will hire a car.
Keep up the good work with the videos, i'd love to do what you do I guess i just need the right kit, my only camera is my dslr right now but go pro is something i'm considering.
Oh i'd also appreciate your thoughts/ comments on my travel videos so far. My take off from Amsterdam to Chicago was actually shared by KLM which i was chuffed about :)
The terrace is great, but I'd also do the Polderbaan! Re: camera, DSLR is a bit big to capture on-board action, GoPro isn't ideal either (you can't really see what you're filming). I use a Canon G7X (both mk 1 and mk 2) - I like them very much.

Scotland is beautiful! So far I've been to Glasgow, Fort William, Edinburgh and now Inverness - it's great.

thanks Loris! I find it hard to make longer vids about such short flights... I like how this one turned out though :-) It was a slice of cake in the food box, there was also a cup of water in there. Good job on your Swiss First Class vid by the way - 250k views in such a short time is pretty cool!

Nice short video. Its nice to follow along on these short hops in Europe. I like the ERJ more than the Fokkers, but those were a real unique experience and will be missed.
agreed, the Fokkers will be missed, but the Embraers are just so much more modern!

What does the + sign means? I believe they only brand it as ERJ175.
the 175+ is an evolution of the regular 175 - this wingtip is only on the '+', not the 'old' 175!

thanks! yes, the 175+ is a bit more special because there aren't that many of them flying yet, but that'll change soon enough! :-)

nice video, last week I had almost 20 min taxiing...
Need to watch out for Embraer because that aircraft manufacturer is seriously going places. Already, by many accounts, building the best business jets in the world (the Legacy 500 and 650). I flew an E190 (bit bigger than the E 175) on British Midland (see Embraer's getting market share!) and was very very impressed. I'm a pilot BTW so know a bit about aeroplanes.

I've only flown on am Embraer once on an American Eagle flight. It was surprisingly nice. I really hope that more companies start to use them frequently. It seems like I only see them using on KLM Cityhopper flights and other small flights that are usually operated by small airlines in partnerships with large once. I think they'd be a nice addition to a lot of fleets.
The ERJ-175 fits a fairly specific niche; due to the size, range and capacity it's not for all airlines. But it's great for KLM Cityhopper and that type of regional airline! This very new one is great to fly!
I think it provides some serious competition for the new CS100 from Bombardier. I hope I see more in the sky soon!
yes, they're in the same category. The CS100 is also a very good looking aircraft by the way, I spotted it in Zurich :-)

I quite like the Embraer's, have flown Air Canada ones, especially as a short person the 2X2 layout is more confortable than 737's or A320's.

Yeah what can you do but if you ask me bus boarding is a luxury at Belfast international, Belfast city and Londonderry you have to walk across the apron and climb up a movable rickety staircase to get to your plane. I had to do it while it was raining!!

Nieuwe vliegtuig ziet er goed uit vraag me af hoe de cocpit er uit ziet maat veel plezier. Daar en fijne vlucht terug

Ik vind de inflight service van KLM een beetje dubieus. Ze geven je een kartonnen doosje waardoor je denkt dat er iets te eten in zit. Vervolgens zie je dat er alleen een plakje cake in zit (met wat water)...

ja, wat je aan boord krijgt is wel minder geworden. Maar, je krijgt nog wel steeds iets, dus, tja. Op 'echte' (rvoege) ochtend vluchten krijg je nog wel een broodje trouwens.

The Embraer has become one of my favorite aircraft's. Is the economy comfort on the 747 the same legroom?
Embraer is short-haul, 747 long-haul; they're quite different. I think the pitch in the 747 in EC is 34 inch, on the Embraer it's 31, though it has a very different seat design.

dank je! Emirates of Qatar hangt echt af van het type toestel dat je vliegt. QR A380, A350 of Dreamliner: doen. Anders Emirates. Bij Emirates heb je vaker de A380, en dus meer kans op de on-board lounge.
