The Blue restaurant inside the non-Schengen lounge was closed due to the COVID pandemic. Thereafter, they concluded that it did not attract enough travelers to be able to open again after COVID. The Schengen lounge has become over crowded due to a lot of travelers (including myself) having Gold or Platinum status as a result of lowered requirements during the pandemic. It’s not a joy to be there anymore - just can’t find a place to sit a lot of times.
Excellent video, as per usual. Many thanks for covering both lounges, I’ve always used them when taking flights from Schiphol. Never used the (now closed) restaurant though.
Thanks. I was trying to determine if I needed to pass through passport control before or after gate F9...solved it. Passport control first, then access the lounge near the entrance to the F area.
Thanks! If you are connecting from a non-schengen flight to another schengen flight both on KLM and your ticket includes lounge access, can you use this lounge? I notice the lounges are available before passport control for transit passengers but am not sure of the access rules.
A very helpfull video, many thanks. I will arrive to Schiphol from a non.Schengen country, and go on to a Schengen country after a 12 hours day stop. I have to hold some videoconfs, but after that my plan is to take a train to Amsterdam for a ride and some shoping (I have been there many times). I believe I will get access to the non Schenglen lounge when arriving. I am not sure. Question is if you could advise on the posibility of moving to the Schengen Lounge before doing inmigration and getting out of the airport, so I can live my hand piece there. I am travelling Business. Many thanks!
Do I need to pass immigration to access non schengen lounge when my flight origin is non schengen country and the destination is also non schengen country (only transit at AMS)

Most helpful information. Thankbyou
You make no mention of showers in either lounge. If I have been flying long haul, a shower is very important.

Insightful video. Could you maybe do one for the Air France Lounges at CDG, Paris as well?
Very informative, great video
Privium clublounge West is by far the best business lounge at Schiphol. It even has a shower free of charge.
Hi can you advise are any drinks included? Thanks
Is there an elevator access?
Great Vlog on the lounges! Thank you! I saw lots of No Smoking signs. Is there anywhere to smoke once in the lounge past security?
