Kuwabara was the best character in the show. His big mouth, and cocky clumsy attitude was what made him. Without him i don't think the show would be as good. He brought the life to the party.

Yes, Kuwabara didn’t die. But he thought he would and he was willing to accept his fate if it meant it could help Yusuke. That is pretty badass and it shows a lot about who Kuwabara is as a man. He’s Kuwabara and in case you guys forgot, he’s got a sword.
To him, if he can’t prove himself to him in live he will do it in death. Kuwabara has a great level of respect for Yusuke, whether he will ever admit it or not. Even as far back as Episode 1 you see it with how he reacted to his death. To him, Yusuke is the one person that made him try to become better then he was. He was an inspiration to him.

you’re right, he did this because he wants to make Yusuke win the fight, Kuwabara faked his death and tell Kurama that dont tell that he’s not dead to Yusuke, yes, it did put 2 fingers inside him but it didnt hit the vital points, meaning, it didnt really go through that deep when Toguro put his 2 fingers inside him

Always loved Kuwabara. Honestly the most underrated character of the show.
Sure, he didn't have the kind of quick thinking the others had. But he had honor, a body built like an ox and sturdy enough to be the totem pole in the 4 saints beasts arc and a lovable attitude towards kittens that made me retching my own attitude against them, even though I still think dogs are far better.
His sword powers are enough to make me believe that had the other characters not been demons, or half demons, he would definately be the main chatacter.
Always willing to be the first to go, willing to sacrifice himself if it was the right thing to do and always doing so for the sake of others...

My love for the guy was cemented long before this.
Soloing a 4 saints beast, twice. His cries of frustration at Yuske's wake, even giving some of his life energy to Yuske to get him back home, the training he went through to get even half the abilities he demonstrated during the dark tournament, hell, taking all the beatings he did just so one of his buddies wouldn't lose his job to take care of his family, bro has got some serious heart and loyalty.

I love the character, Kuwabara. But Chris Sabat is worse than Germany's Adolf, siding with a lying p.o.s. who was caught paying people to fake, forge, photoshop evidence against the cutest most adorably warming and nicest people to ever exist, Vic Mig.

Actually I think he was an A rank but still that is amazing considering he is full blooded human unlike the rest of the group and he is the strongest human by the end of the series. Also he saved Yusuke more than Yusuke saved him and Kuwabara built himself from the ground up unlike Yusuke, so the fact that he is as strong as he is is amazing so, it's possible for Kuwabara to surpass everyone considering his persistence, heart, dedication, and stubbornness. Kuwabara was my favorite character.

Yeah when Funimation dubbed the first two seasons, they aried them late at night uncut. It even made its way to Toonami but their was some controversy of Gohan being Naked after having his tail cut off. It was only breif but it was enough for some parents to freak out lol
My only regret... Is that I can't hit the thumbs up icon multiple times while watching this clip.
I wish there was a Yu Yu special that added more to his backstory with Yusuke... like maybe they were childhood friends and just had a big falling out, and started fighting all the time. Would kind of make sense considering how he quite quickly changes his attitude once Yusuke died the first time.
Yusuke originally was a Goal to Kuwabara. The one person he was unable to beat. Overtime as he tried to surpass him, he began to Respect him and his Strength. That’s why when he heard that Yusuke died, it destroyed him. He was never able to prove himself to the man he could never beat...and to the man he had the most Respect for.

I have to agree, no need for a deeper back-story. Yusuke always beat everyones' asses and Kuwabara always considered him a rival and never could beat him. Eric says it perfectly.

I thought it was the Japanese version. The Japanese voice actor for kuwabara voiced Raditz, emperor pilaf and garlic jr in the dragon ball and dragon ball Z sagas.
I only figured it out when kuwabara screamed shut up (urasue) in a high pitched voice. I was like oh that sounded like pilaf so I checked it up and lo and behold I was right. Yay

It was censored they showed Toguro attacking him, but they ommited Toguro pulling his hand out and went straight to Kuwabara telling yuske to make his death count.
