The cop's dismissive response to being told to honor his oath is very telling, and you can literally see his frustration rise as he realizes that his victim knows his rights and he won't be able to just intimidate him into compliance.
He is dismissive because he is being told how to do his job and getting resistance. He had articulable suspicion of a crime even if the 911 information was incorrect. He does not know that . Suspicion of being a child predator. He has reasonable suspicion

He didn't need to press for an ID, he could have just told them why he was called. Done. Report followed up and no crimes found. Move on to more important business.

As much as you don't like that the police officer wasted taxpayer funds by responding to someone in public not concealing themselves and recording the public, you have to give the police officer credit that he remained professional (as he possibly could) and didn't escalate.

Even if the guy were to be recording kids in a park, if the park is public, he still wouldn’t have been doing anything illegal.

He got called into a potential pedo case. Didn't know anything until he got there. He expressed his reason for being there and found a cop watcher. He immediately deescalated and bounced. I watch alot of these foul videos but this cop actually did his job. We want him on the force.
