Touhou Project, also known as Toho Project and Project Shrine Maiden, is a series of games focused on bullet hell shmups made ​​by one man, known as ZUN, who did most of the graphics, music, and programming alone. @sabinateo8893 that's literally the point of a "longplay", you show the entire game and don't skip anything, World of Longplays rules literally tell you to not skip dialogues and cutscenes.

I honestly hate when you get stuck in a swarm of bullets that you just have to expect that your dead (unless you have a spell card)
@@thosemerc3113 Savestates are often a product of whatever program you're using to run the game (Embodiment of Scarlet Devil is from 2002, I highly doubt a modern machine is going to run it without some kind of backwards compatibility emulator), the game doesn't have to include the feature natively. Savestates used here would probably be to ensure that if the runner got a game over they wouldn't have to play the whole game again - just restore to the savestate from before the stage where you got a game over and stitch the successful runs together in editing.

@@DAMOsanboth characters have 2 different spell cards to choose from with their own special attack
Reimu A has homing bullets but Reimu B has needles
I think I just found another videogame series I really like now.
Edit: And now one month later im a dedicated Touhou fan and this game is my favorite for introducing to the world of Touhou! Thank you for the playthrough

man, zun's old watercolor style art really does hit different. i know his technical art skills have improved a lot over the years, but this just has such a charm that i feel the new games are missing
Remilia's musical theme is gorgeous. I could listen to it for days non-stop (as well as Patchouli's, and Sakuya's stage) !!...
This is the easiest Touhou game for Windows. It becomes hell after this. (But this one introduced some of the most stable characters of all the Touhou series)

I’d say perfect cherry blossom is easier, and unconnected marketeers, the newest one, is hard but more forgiving to new players thanks to its card system

it is called airstrike 3d and oh god it is hard but I grew up playing it and yeah I play on nightmare difficulty hardest mode here's the damage of they do 1pellet=50% 1missle=70% heavy shots=85-90% heavy missle=95% anything else=1shot
