All 2024 Atlas and 2024 Atlas Cross Sport versions will be equipped with the same new turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder TSI engine, with upgraded power compared to before. Meanwhile, VW will also abandon the previous 3.6L V6 engine option. Volkswagen Teramont X has 2 engine options. The first is a 2.0L turbocharged gasoline engine, producing 217 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.
The second is a 2.5L V6 turbocharged gasoline engine, producing 295 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Both engines come with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission and 4Motion full-time four-wheel drive system.
The version using the 2.5L V6 engine is capable of accelerating 0-100 km in 7.2 seconds. However, with an expected selling price of 2,168 billion VND, the engine option on the Teramont X sold in Vietnam will most likely be a 2.0L turbocharged gasoline.
Volkswagen Teramont The car aims for a vibrant, modern style, different from the image of mature, middle-aged Teramont.
The car is developed based on the famous MQB platform of the Volkswagen Group, with a length of 4,917 mm, a width of 1,989 mm, a height of 1,729 mm and a wheelbase of 2,980 mm. Compared to Teramont, Teramont X is 180 mm shorter and 48 mm lower. The car only has 5 seats.
