Congrats teacher you earned it! taking your lessons motivates me to keep studying thank you for all you do for us you're truly amazing❤ #grace4president🙌
Good video as always Grace, nice to see some feedback about how foreigners speak. A type of video I've seen lately with Russian videos is where they take a song/scene from a film and deconstruct the meaning line by line, I find that method is also really helpful and you seem to have the editing skills to do that with Chinese too, so that's my request for a possible future video.
Just know that I genuinely appreciate your videos. They help a lot and they’re super effective as well as aesthetically pleasing!!! You’re awesome. 你真的很棒
Wow, that was actually a really interesting way to discuss specific grammar points. I think analyzing interviews is great because you’re getting real answers from real people, rather than made up dialogues. I learned a lot and will be checking out the rest of your videos :D 谢谢你!
Your analysis videos are my favourite. Your videos on Mark Zuckerberg, John Cena and now YoonA have been great for learning. You are also very positive. You don't shame anyone for making mistakes. Looking forward to more videos!
Hi Grace, I like your videos and that you always put effort in finding real life examples in films and series! One thing I would really like a video about is the distinction between various sentence final particles such 啊,啦,嘛 etc. To really grasp one would probably just need a lot of exposure but an introductory video on these would be helpful I believe! :)
I was really inspired of your corrections for YOUNA's latest interview since I whose primary language is Korean would most likely make the same mistake. Koreans really have some advantages in learning Chinese though I sould 再接再厉. Thanks!!^^
Thank you for your videos grace. And they are so GRACEfully done! lol! These videos have helped my Chinese a lot. And BTW I think your also very cute. And your English is Adorable. Have a good day! 再见
awesome! one recommendation if it's not much of a trouble, please include word for word translation of the mandarin that you have used, it would help us beginners to analyze a bit of how the sentence is constructed and also to learn new vocab. thanks ^_^
Hi thanks so much that's super helpful. Can you please do more slang explaining videos in the future? Cuz slangs are changing everyday and it's hard to keep up. Thank you so much 🙏🙏 Subbed
Thank you very much ! I’m currently learning Chinese and it is so hard yet so challenging, I hope one day I can communicate properly in Chinese ☺️ my first language is Spanish and the grammar structure is soooo different ! I keep on Making several mistakes, but I think that is the way I can learn better, I’ll keep on watching your videos!
Juan Garutti It depends on the context. In her sentences, “而且” is not suitable because when “而且” connects two sentences, it has the meaning of “Furthermore, moreover”.
About 又 and 再, can I consider the sentence as it is in the past tense if it has 又? I am asking this because I have a very hard time distinguishing present and past tense when it does not have time words like 昨天, 去年, etc.
Would you provide us a video lesson which is about e, i, and u when e pronounces [ɛ] or [ɯə or ɤə], when i pronounces [i] or [ɯ or ɤ], and when u pronounces [u],[uɛ], or ü[y]? These are very confusing.
I notice that from natives as well. It’s kind of like 的 地 得 or correct tone modification. 儘管/雖然 我們/咱們 特定 特別/特殊. 突然,居然 忽然 竟然..... you get the point. I personally haven’t really had this issue but I know many who have. I don’t know very interesting to say the least
I'm new to your channel and love this style of video! 我3年左右在学习中文 ☺请问️ 我的朋友一次告诉了我“再”和“又” 的区别好像是“又”有比较消极的用法 比如说 你跟你的朋友们经常去吃火锅,但你可能说 “又火锅?”因为你吃腻了。或者“你又忘了!” 意思是经常忘,所以让你很烦恼。这是不是对呢 😬🤔
How long yoona really focus on chinese learning I mean she learn since she have roles in Chinese drama right?? What is the exact times till she can speak chinese well?
I really like traditional characters, but have no idea how to learn them, because there's usually only simplified characters in any workbooks and RUclips channels with study materials :(
Handwriting traditional characters are troublesome but in typing, it's easy. Anyways, you can change the setting in some chinese learning apps to traditional characters, and buy books that have traditional characters with zhuyin in them. I find most of books that have traditional characters are in Chinese book stores. Well, I found one in Richmond, BC where lots of residents were from hk and Taiwan. I guess you can find lots of resources online.
Here you can see the girl also used "录得很开心“ as her video title: www.iqiyi.com/w_19s5gopnqh.html#curid=30382197509_7850455638dc87c192653405e718a720 For sure there are some other ways to express it too! ;)
Hskk (intermediate level) but I think it's not as difficult as Hsk level because Hskk test is only a speaking test, has 3 levels of it. About Hsk, there are 6 levels including (Writing, Listening and Reading). If I compare her level with Hsk's criteria. it's Hsk4. It's easy to get this level.
很有意思 is kinda of one of those terms that bad chinese teachers teach to foreigners. Not be mean but it’s true. Also like how they teach foreigners 馬馬虎虎 to express use it express things that 馬馬虎虎 wouldn’t be used for. I think it’s a “how can I translate late what they want to say into Chinese, or what’s the textbook way to say? Instead of learning the natural way to describe that situation. I’ve never truly understood why some feel the need to do that. Very unproductive if you ask me.
I hope you enjoy today’s video! ☺️

4:01 why is “He is interesting” written as 他这个人很有趣 and not just simply 他很有趣?
Hi!Grace! I like your intro music! 那我想问你!你除了会英语!还有会别的吗?
你教得很棒, 我学到了很多东西, 谢谢你 ♥♥♥♥♥♥
3:08 Would 而且 also be appropriate here, instead of 还有?
Juan Garutti It depends on the context. In her sentences, “而且” is not suitable because when “而且” connects two sentences, it has the meaning of “Furthermore, moreover”.
Thank you...
恭喜你!
She used 所以 because in korean, the word for So/therefore sometimes also translate to “and” :-)
Thank you for sharing this knowledge!
Are you sure? Not really.
那個有意思的part真的超有中的!!(覺得可以懂意思,可是平常真的不太常說有意思啊(不像母語使用者的習慣!?
比較常會聽到有趣好玩之類的!!!
Didn't expect Yoona, she's so cute
Yes, you can say both! ;) You're a quick learner!
Can you make a video analyzing Michelle yeoh’s Mandarin Chinese??🙏🏻🙏🏻

So moving houses is pretty regular for some people.
I love you GRACE. * 我爱你*
学到了!
nice video!!!
好吧 我還真沒想過又跟再用法這麼不一樣XD
而且又「又有」兩種用法(這算第三種嗎...)
中文好複雜哈哈哈
I didn't realize 又 and 再 are so different and 又 has two meanings.
Chinese is really complicated
I notice that from natives as well. It’s kind of like 的 地 得 or correct tone modification. 儘管/雖然 我們/咱們 特定 特別/特殊. 突然,居然 忽然 竟然..... you get the point. I personally haven’t really had this issue but I know many who have. I don’t know very interesting to say the least
Jordan Davis 的 得 地 are used in different place indeed but yes we often mixed them up😂
If it's possible try to increase the font of the tones, i only can read them in full screen, thanks for the lesson as always a good lesson.
I'm new to your channel and love this style of video! 我3年左右在学习中文 ☺请问️ 我的朋友一次告诉了我“再”和“又” 的区别好像是“又”有比较消极的用法 比如说 你跟你的朋友们经常去吃火锅,但你可能说 “又火锅?”因为你吃腻了。或者“你又忘了!” 意思是经常忘,所以让你很烦恼。这是不是对呢 😬🤔
Jasmine Burton Hi welcome! 嗯嗯對!用「又」常常有不耐煩的感覺,但也要看語境哦!像是如果我說:「我們明天又可以見面了!」這裡的「又」就沒有不耐煩的意思😊
(Simplified: 嗯嗯对!用“又”常常有不耐烦的感觉,但也要看语境哦!像是如果我说:“我们明天又可以见面了!” 这里的“又”就没有不耐烦的意思😊 )
Achievements ☺️💯
我想發問>< "明天又要上班了"那三句,能不能這樣解釋:"又"的用法可能還是一樣的,如將"要上班"視為完整體的話,"要上班"的確是發生在"上班"之前,也的確可以視為已發生。而"要上班、要搬家、會下雨"都有表未來涵義,所以是不是就和"又"的完成涵義抵銷了呢?
Would you ever take on students online? Like Italki?

I really like traditional characters, but have no idea how to learn them, because there's usually only simplified characters in any workbooks and RUclips channels with study materials :(
I use the app Pleco to learn them, it has a flashcard option and you even have the stroke order. There is also Skritter but it's not free

That's the first time I've heard 录的很开心. It seems a really weird way to say it. 录 literally means "record" right? Maybe I'd say 我觉得今天的节目很好玩儿?
Here you can see the girl also used "录得很开心“ as her video title:

Hello Grace laoshi ♥️
Ana Mae Daig Hi! :)
Teacher , Where do you come from?
注音是章太炎用日本假名给汉字注音,拼音是西方传教士为了传教学习中文而给汉字注音,个人觉得拼音是趋势,仅是个人观点😹
不知道古代人都是怎么学发音的
