    Good video as always Grace, nice to see some feedback about how foreigners speak. A type of video I've seen lately with Russian videos is where they take a song/scene from a film and deconstruct the meaning line by line, I find that method is also really helpful and you seem to have the editing skills to do that with Chinese too, so that's my request for a possible future video.

    Hi Grace, I like your videos and that you always put effort in finding real life examples in films and series! One thing I would really like a video about is the distinction between various sentence final particles such 啊,啦,嘛 etc. To really grasp one would probably just need a lot of exposure but an introductory video on these would be helpful I believe! :)

    I'm new to your channel and love this style of video! 我3年左右在学习中文 ☺请问️ 我的朋友一次告诉了我“再”和“又” 的区别好像是“又”有比较消极的用法 比如说 你跟你的朋友们经常去吃火锅,但你可能说 “又火锅?”因为你吃腻了。或者“你又忘了!” 意思是经常忘,所以让你很烦恼。这是不是对呢 😬🤔

    • @GraceMandarinChinese
      @GraceMandarinChinese  4 года назад

      Jasmine Burton Hi welcome! 嗯嗯對!用「又」常常有不耐煩的感覺,但也要看語境哦!像是如果我說:「我們明天又可以見面了!」這裡的「又」就沒有不耐煩的意思😊

    我想發問>< "明天又要上班了"那三句,能不能這樣解釋:"又"的用法可能還是一樣的,如將"要上班"視為完整體的話,"要上班"的確是發生在"上班"之前,也的確可以視為已發生。而"要上班、要搬家、會下雨"都有表未來涵義,所以是不是就和"又"的完成涵義抵銷了呢?

      Handwriting traditional characters are troublesome but in typing, it's easy. Anyways, you can change the setting in some chinese learning apps to traditional characters, and buy books that have traditional characters with zhuyin in them. I find most of books that have traditional characters are in Chinese book stores. Well, I found one in Richmond, BC where lots of residents were from hk and Taiwan. I guess you can find lots of resources online.

About Hsk, there are 6 levels including (Writing, Listening and Reading). If I compare her level with Hsk's criteria. it's Hsk4. It's easy to get this level.

    很有意思 is kinda of one of those terms that bad chinese teachers teach to foreigners. Not be mean but it’s true. Also like how they teach foreigners 馬馬虎虎 to express use it express things that 馬馬虎虎 wouldn’t be used for. I think it’s a “how can I translate late what they want to say into Chinese, or what’s the textbook way to say? Instead of learning the natural way to describe that situation. I’ve never truly understood why some feel the need to do that. Very unproductive if you ask me.
