JR in many ways is the heart and soul of the WWE. It's not the same as it was back 10-15 years ago which is when i watched it but my god it was great back then. so many great personalities. My all time favorite was Goldberg. I think im going to buy this book and give it a read.
Lavar Ball what a clown. Caught stealing from his own son. He's a control freak and I can't believed people actually defended him when he threaten Kristine that one time.
@9:52 Jim Ross nearly crying and choked up over the fact he wasn’t a great father but how many kids have fathers who are millionaires? I can’t imagine his kids went hungry.
True, but I will guess that his kids would have given all of that up to have him around more than he was. There is no telling how much he missed out on when his kids were growing up and there's no price tag for having your dad around and supporting you in what you're doing.
Jim Ross was as important to the WWF/E as Stone Cold and The Rock were. The amount of life and excitement he added to every match is hard to overstate.

You forgot to mention The Undertaker. While never being a big fan of The Undertaker....I think it goes without question, he was the most popular/famous in Professional Wrestling history. Without him, The Attitude Era wouldn't be what we remember is being, the most epic era in Professional Wrestling's history.
Undertaker is on John Cena/Brock lesnar super stardom level i would say. Everybody also internationally knows John cena and also brock lesnar since he was the UFC HW champ for some years.
The Undertaker was the ultimate villain. He was the holder of "The Streak", with a 21-0 Wrestlemania record. He was part of some of the most iconic matches during in WWF history. And he wrestled for over 30 years, all the way up to his 50's. That dude had soooo much to do with the most popular era in Pro Wrestling history, and that's a big deal. He may not have been the most beloved....but EVERYONE knew who he was, and there was no fight he didn't have a chance at winning, whether it be against Stone Cold, The Rock, Kane, Kurt Angle, ect. Andre ...he was WAY more popular than you realize. If you disagree, fine. But to act like it's not even a discussion...you're way off base. DLKnightstick ...no offense, but that is prob the worst description of The Undertaker you could come up with. I suppose I get what you're tryyyying to say.....but you're just terribly wrong.
the TRUman I think there are two distinctly different discussions happening here. what you REALLY meant is that the Undertaker had the most successful, important and impactful GIMMICK of all time...I would 100% agree. Yes, Austin, The Rock, Hogan were all wildly popular, enough to gain necessary mainstream attention, but their "characters" were really just versions of themselves turned up to the max...you can say the same about Cena and Brock post attitude era. But if not for the gamble Vince took on "the Undertaker" GIMMICK, the business would probably not have been lucrative enough for those other guys to flourish into the 21st century.
Heelin Off24/7 my whole case, and every point Ive made to support that case, is saying I firmly believe that The Undertaker should be on the Pro Wrestling Mt Rushmore...meaning , if The Undertaker isnt theeee most iconic Pro Wrestler of all time, he is definitely top 4. #1 can be debated....Stone Cold was the definition of badass, and The Rock was the definition of electric. However...The Undertaer being Top 4...I think that goes without question. The Attitude Era defines Pro Wrestling....and The Undertaker helped make The Attitude Era.

Ryan Friesen yeah but star power wise he isn't up there with rock and Hogan on a mainstream level were the average non wrestling fan still knows who they are
I didn't know that JR was more than just an announcer for the WWF/E, i.e. that he was a VP for player relations for a time. Very interesting interview.
This might have been Colin’s best interview ever. I could have listened to this for another hour. Surprised they missed out on Undertaker, The Bret Hart screwjob, WCW, so many interesting topics.

Hey Colin, big fan. I just wanted to say congrats on your new show. it's a great listen. Good luck with all your future endeavors. Aloha from the 808 state.
My top 5 in no order Stone cold Rock Hbk Undertaker Triple H I say triple H cause he just plays the bad guy the best. I hated him growing up he did it so well. I loved to hate him and now as an adult I’ve come to appreciate how good he was at his job and the role he played in contributing to The reason I love the 4 names I’ve placed above him. ❤️
Jr forgot that Haku was feared by Harley Race & Andre the Giant. And everyone else was scared of those two men except Haku. Rocky Johnson tells some great stories about a young Haku.
Love it Colin....thanks for showing us wrestling fans that you do respect the business. We aren't all sexually repressed living in our parents basement :)

@@truindividual what he said about Eddie Guerrero was hideous
HBK started the attitude era. So in essence he started Rock, Austin and HHH.
You don't know the history of Colin Cowherd. He hates pro-wrestling. He has to do it because he works for Fox and Fox works with WWE now.
