Full Flight: American Airlines A319 Pittsburgh to Charlotte (PIT-CLT)

- Hey guys! Welcome to a very cool full flight video aboard one of American's best heritage liveries...their throwback PSA Airlines A319! I surely wasn't expecting to fly this really sweet paint scheme down to Charlotte, but I'll take it any day! Even the ground agent was excited to see this bird when he saw me filming it and we talked for a few minutes. But honestly, besides the cool outside, the inside is just like any other American A319. It's a 20 year old plane and you can definitely see that immediately throughout the cabin. The hard product onboard isn't American's worst, but it ain't their best either. It was a relatively light flight so boarding process wasn't that bad, although AA really should finally switch it up and board from back to front already. There wasn't any snack or drink service onboard, to be expected nowadays, but I'd like to see American start this up again on these shorter routes. Besides these things, the crew was nice, the flight departed & arrived early, and the scenery was on point. Was a nice pleasant late morning flight down to Charlotte aboard a really cool plane. Hope you guys enjoy!

As someone who is fascinated with learning Pacific Southwest Airlines, seeing a flight with that livery certainly mesmerized me. Thank you for taking the time to upload.
Feels like we're back in the 60s or 70s!
Yes! Get that Chick-fil-A! 🙌
i should get thejazzguy 13 to fly to Burbank and Orange County in the future
I am a huge huge fan of your flight videos especially when you give every detail of where your flying over and seeing the different sights along with the cities. Hope to hear from you soon. Much love from Philadelphia
That confused look at 15:40 🤣🤣... absolutely brilliant filming. Love your videos. They are a real pleasure to watch.
Nice vid kiddo! Thanks for sharing! Yeah that was a nice livery indeed!
Saw that “ PSA” livery several times at MIA ( Miami)
I’m glad I found this page . These videos are so chill 💕💕😉
Love the psa livery and love getting to go down to Charlotte when ever I get the chance
You flew over my college home!
As a Charlotte native Carowinds is a place I spent many summers at as a kid. Riding the top gun ride which is now afterburner and the intimidator ride never got to ride the fury yet. Good job on the video.
Love ❤️ that paint scheme and I like American Airlines 🛫🛫.
Pitts airport looks good , love to see that city one day
I love pitts airport.
Great video! Love the amount of info you give us during the flight!
Now that’s a classy a319 :)
I am not here because I am aviation fan. I am here because I am terrified to fly, and will be doing so next month from Detroit to Fairbanks via Seattle. These videos are really helping me de-sensitize to the through of flying, and I have gone from dreading it to actually starting to look forward to it. Thank you for posting your videos. They have been far cheaper that therapy and/or sedatives, lol. If I see you on one of my flights, I will buy you a drink.
Hey very glad to hear that they help mate! Enjoy your trip 🤙🏻
Love the vids. Keep it up!!
Just running through your video list, sort of playing catch up. Was really cool to see this PSA livery, and that you had a chance to fly on this bird (other notations aside). Was able to photograph this heritage livery (and several others) at LAX, standing on Imperial Hill, with other avgeek photographers. I'm glad that AA did run their heritage series. An acknowledgement of those that came before their current route size. Would be nice if Delta would do something similar.
Flew on the original PSA planes way back when.....
Keep up the good videos. Do appreciate the geographical call outs.
Looks amazing the intro
Just found your channel the other day and have really been enjoying your travel and aviation/rail videos....especially being a fellow Pittsburgher! It’s sort of been nice since I’ve been stuck at home so much...I’m living vicariously lol plus I love seeing PIT international airport.
Love ur vids , keep it up
Thank you 👍😁 for sharing your height so we have a better idea the actual seat pitch. Most bloggers don't tell us so it's useless for them to include their little hand demo....☹️
Welcome to my home airport! It looks like you encountered a good bit of Florida flights on your taxi in. It’s one of our top destinations (with Orlando being the top city) from here in CLT. Hopefully, you had a nice time in the Charlotte area!
Wow nice dude
Nice 👍
Another great video! That is a rare liverly if you ask me. Even though I would like to see it on a 737, this is still nice. I wonder what is next.
Miss seeing PSA as its own airline at its home base of SAN,
Another great trip report. Your eerie Covid music is the same music they play in Pyongyang NK at 0600am every morning on hundreds of loud speakers to wake the people up to. You can here it in a few tourist VLOGS. LOL
Love the content! Wish you plenty of success with your channel! Plus would love to watch a video of yours on the ERJ 145 ....Best wishes from Mozambique 🇲🇿
Howdy, awesome trip report as always Chris! Seems like you got the mid range AA Airbus product! Also, what a cool livery, though the heritage US Airways liveries are my favorites! Also, having used CLT to connect before, it seriously is one of the best designed airports for connecting passengers. They even have a nice regional terminal!😸😸
Oh yes. Hey Life's Ups and Downs!
@@BluegrassElevators howdy
United is flying out of Johnstown to Washington Dulles IAD and Chicago ORD. That would be a cool vid!
We don't get many heritage liverlies from AA down here in CLT. It's mainly the Oneworld livery and the current one.
i love your trip videos do you travel for fun or do you do it for work
First. I am flying from BNA-MCO on This incoming Sunday!!!! I am so excited.
I’m flying RDU-MIA and then FLL-RDU later this month!

You fly American Airlines from Pittsburgh to Charlotte?
The boss baby the season 3 the crying!
boss baby season 3 the woof and sneeze the southwest airlines march 2004!
Ok!
But did they paint a smile on the front of the plane below the cockpit?
How I rate all the airlines from most favorite to least favorite well not including COVID this is my list before COVID was ever a thing
1. Southwest Airlines
2. JetBlue
3. American Airlines
4. Delta
5. Alaska
6. Frontier
Dead last Spirit
Airlines I have never flown yet United and Allegiant.
Anybody notice the guy in the first row of FC wearing the TWA logo shirt? Yet another airline besides PSA that was gobbled up by AA. I'm guessing you were flying on a BE ticket--from my vantage point, looked like the 3 rows of MCE were empty--you probably could have moved up to the bulkhead with a FA's permission, your flight appeared to be fairly light--the beginning of this vid made it look as though you spent some time kayaking before being driven to the airport.
Hey when will Pittsburgh International Airport be re done
It's in the early stages already! I think heavy construction will start this summer, but there's already tons of jetbridges removed and other work going on
You should fly to these airports in the future Aspen, Burbank, Orange County, San Diego, Charleston WV, Chicago Midway, Sitka, and Telluride all scary airports here in the U.S.
Don’t get me started on Charleston, it’s terrifying
Orange County has a nice airport. Flew there last year.
@@ryanfrisby7389 those EMAS systems are the only thing that can save an airplane from falling
@@ethansonnenberg6744 i heard the landing and takeoffs are unique
@@michaelsharp3615 they sure are
With everything we know about COVID nowadays. Let's be honest no food/drink service on short haul flights isn't about safety its about cost cutting.
what lake/river were you at?????
Kiski River 👍🏻
@@thejazzguy13 oh sweet thank you!
100th like😁
#rare
I did not know American Airlines had a maintenance hangar at PIT
Next flight Charlotte to st. Croix
I wish mate, that'd be sick
Charlotte Airport is American Airlines 2nd largest hub
😴
Also fly to Omaha sometime please with LI Flyer, QFS Aviation, theplanesguy, iTripReport, cokecansandwinglets, lia.aviation, Atlanta Aviation, and FLL Aviation
Unless OMA has a major inaugural or retirement flight, that will probably not happen.
@@crazycoollady inagural flights will happen wait til JETBLUE flies to Omaha

Yes
Ok!
They messed us over! We built a 2 billion $ airport with all the bells and wistles and they chose Charlotte? I mean what? Charlotte? It's just business right?
