I think it’s interesting too. This particular one that I was on had the CFM56 engines. I think it’s because American Airlines has such a big fleet. That’s why they try to change it up a little bit.
@@HighwayelevatorsI think it’s because those are smaller airlines that have smaller fleets of Airbus A320’s. American Airlines also has A320’s as well as A319’s that both have the CFM56 and IAE V2500 engines.
Interestingly that American is one of the few airlines to have both, the CFM56 and the IAEv2500 variant in their Airbus A320ceo, A321ceo fleet.
