That is a great decision. Mental health and personal life are more important for staying sane! Also can you create more videos about CET, including the syllabus, important topics, and some tricks?
Really interesting insights! Thanks for sharing your journey. I'd love to know more about how you broke into management consulting, especially with lower graduate scores. Any tips for others in a similar position?
Hi ! I am currently working at ZS and i totally feel the no family time and health management thing. And just like you, I am a cricket maniac, please let us know how you got there and how you got cricket related project (also last year i scored 99.5 in cet so hopefully this year i get to see JB from inside !)
Typically all top management roles in consulting, Investment Banking, Marketing, Sales, Operation are offered You can check out the placement report for more details: jbims.edu/placement-reports//
Bro I am currently working in chemical industry in design department. the job life is chill and very much flexible. I am also preparing for CAT. my salary here is 8lpa. but learning and work pressure isnt high at all, its chill. Job security is also high. CAT ke liye jana chahiye ya nahi 😅
8 lpa is not that enough to survive today's expenses, no offence. You will have to do a pg course. Maybe u won't prefer data science career. Like FAANG etc or tcs, wipro, Infosys do mass hiring. Purely, coding and developing. Watch The IIM guy's video. If you have good maths and analytical skills. MBA won't be too hard for you. And u can get many job roles after mba. It totally depends on your aspirations. But yeah manganement consultanting is really hard. I know someone who works McKinsey, they went to iim.
Hello Shreekanth has also done Civil Engineering post that he has 2 years of Business Development work experience in Ed-Tech industry He did his MBA in Marketing from JBIMS post which he git into Management Consulting So definitely you will also be a good fit if you do MBA and enter into any Management oriented role in future like Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, HR You can choose basis your preferences
