    Thanks for making this video. I did the rear pads on my white 09 Civic today and it went just as you indicated. I did get a different tool for screwing in the pistons.

      Appreciate it, rust free vehicles are much easier to work on, I have great respect for technicians who have rust buckets come into their shop on a daily basis

    Hello, very informative video. I subscribed, and your videos will help me out with my newly acquired 2009 Honda Civic. One question...do the calipers twist in clockwise on both sides. Thanks again

    What is that little square that you used to compressed? Is it needed for the front as well?

      You don’t need a special tool, might make it easier but it’s not needed. You can use some big needle nose pliers, you just need something to twist it..

    hey danny, i was wondering, have you ever had the issue where your fuel gauge is reversed in your civic? I known its a somewhat common issue

      I have not

    • @ericschwa1479
      @ericschwa1479 8 месяцев назад

      We have. It's the contacts in the instrument cluster that are the issue. We just give the cluster a love tap just right of the speedometer and it corrects. Not a fix per se, but it does correct for awhile.

    When you say “it” says torque to 17 lbs. is there a manual we can buy that shows all this stuff?
    Also I hate rotating my tires but do it because most of those tires guys don’t really care about another person car…..

    • @dannysdiygarage
      @dannysdiygarage  11 месяцев назад +3

      yes, there are manuals you can buy, the internet usually has a lot of free information also, it just takes time to do research, people have no Idea how much time I spend trying to find the correct information for them. Appreciate you watching and please subscribe if your not already

      The disk in the rear do appear to work much better, a lot easier to service also
