Thanks mate. No worries. I’m sure I miss videos all the time. You don’t go on for a couple of days and suddenly there’s thousands to catch up with lol.
they look amazing leon so much detail on them must have been quite hard to paint but certainly paid off, the cavalry do look amazing when they come together well done mate wish i had your painting skills ;)
Very nicely painted Leon I'm glad you have tackled a neglected unit ,you don't see many Uhlans painted up especially whole regiments ,think there's another 2-3 in the Austrian army 😆
If your going back to paint the straps, paint the officers trousers green as well, the customer will notice!!. It will be good to see the battle report soon.
Yes I realised to late the trousers should of been green. But I’d already painted em grey lol. So I decided I didn’t want to paint them again. They might have to fight my British Naps as I haven’t enough French painted yet
Nice review and paintjob mate. How do these compare to the Victrix Uhlans? Have you checked them out? Victrix makes some great cavalry so I am deciding between those and the Perry ones.
Thanks mate. Unfortunately I don’t have any of the Victrix cavalry. I do mean to get some at some point. The Perry’s and Victrix infantry are a great match so I reckon the cavalry will mix really well and give you more variety by having both.
Why do they insist on putting on cast lead spears, lances etc. Much better just open handed and the lance tops with the figures. What about the limber crews?
The lances were separate to be fair, with open hands on the minis, So no drilling required, which was a bonus. No Lance tops supplied but they’re easy enough to make. I have the limbers but they’ll get done later this year. 2 limbers and a ammunition wagon
Fantastic looking figures AND an outstanding job of painting them! Foes of Austria... beware! The Uhlans are on the tabletop! Well Done!
Thanks buddy. Just hope they don’t suffer with new model syndrome on their first outing lol
@@leont66wargaming31 Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! Well... they'll STILL look good... even if they are retreating! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
Love the cavalry Leon. The red really pops! Thanks for sharing
Thanks buddy

Spectacular work! Congratulations and well done!

Superb mate they look the business. Austrian lancers make a nice change from all that off white. The gun colours look spot on.
Thanks mate. Yes it was nice to paint something other than white. Hopefully I’ll get the guns finished this week

Thanks Chris. I painted them 2 at a time when I was painting all the horses for the crusaders, to stop them feeling like hard work.
They look outstanding mate. The Austrian army is motoring along!
Thanks buddy. I reckon there’s still 12-18 months till it’s finally completed lol

Thanks mate. Yes I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else paint these.
I think you’re right, at least 2 more regiments but not in my army 🤣
@Leon T66 wargaming I have those in 1/72 by strelets but the horses are all standing poses I've put them at the back of the que for time being 👍
Great work as always mate. That reminds me the Uhlans are the only type of cavalry I don’t have for my Austrian army. Might have to put that right. 🤔😂
Thanks mate. Well yes, it’d be rude not too 🤣
Very nice mate
Cheers mate
Great show leon 👏 did you try the varnish method
Thanks buddy. No still haven’t tried it yet lol. I’m still using the mat medium in with the strong tone.

Another awesome unit of Cavalry for your Austrians, mate. at this rate you'll have more Austrian Cavalry than infantry, :)
Thanks buddy. It does feel like it lol.

Thanks Dread
Top draw m8
