Wrong! There is not the monogame or polyamouros person. Humans are NOT hard wired, to be monogame. We also are not polyamerous. This does not work this way. Monogamy is a choice for stability and security. A choice of trust, honesty and deep care for one persons weell being. Polyamerous life stylie is exactly the opposite. It is a selfish self centered life style. It is about momentarily pleasure. It is about getting as much attention and validation from others as you get. We human are not mentaly build to focus on more then one person emotionaly and menatly. Thats why you loos the abilty to care for the mental state of the partner. You weakening bounds and eventualy the bounds break. BUt the thrill of getting the attention from others are to tempting for some. Thats why they cheat or do it openly in having open relationships.
This women has weak mind and never learned to stay away from toxic persons. She listen the wrong persons, that encurrage her selfishness. This does not excuse her actions. She is a grown up person and accountable for very own choices and actions. She was warned enough. It was just that the she believed that her husband would eventualy for give her and she was so focused to get her will, that she lost the sight of what realy was going on. And when she was finaly facing the consequences it was to late.
Thats why it is so important to teach kids especialy girls accountability and learning who has toxic destabilisating influence. It is like this group of kids will make you do crimes when you stay with them and this others will not, even if those who do crimes are the more exciting ones. Sadly in our western society girls and young women do not get teached that "freedom" comes with to be accountable for your actions. We way to often let them get to easy away when the make bad decissions.We way to less hold them accountable for their actions. We do not teach them what good decissions are. In the opposite we teach them selfishness and carelessness.

Open marriages have an extremely high failure rate. Very few couples come out on top and for the ones who do end up having children that they prioritize last in their open marriage and wonder why their kids dont talk to them when they become adults and are disillusioned by marriage?
Wife needed a chance to dance with another guy and needed to push her husband to another woman so she can pry open that can of worms for the Open Marriage.

OP handled this situation like a BOSS! He told her she'd pay a heavy price if she went through with it and he made good on that promise. She was long gone though, in her own head. Even until the end, just before he filed for divorce, she still thought he would have enjoyed it, IF ONLY HE WOULD TRY IT. She was delusional as all hell. She finally got the message when the divorce was over though and her daughters wanted nothing to do with her. She was a lost cause way before that though. OP did the right thing for his daughters by getting them away from her asap. She was a horrible example of a wife and mother after what her daughters overheard, when they were on the stairs listening. She will regret her decision until the day she dies.

With what these women thinks is exciting, they will just do it behind the backs of their disapproving spouses, destroying the fantasy, delusional worlds they created when it becomes known. She loved her husband and wanted to rekindle the passion. Pity she fell under the spell of that coworker who convinced her this was the right path. Marriage in America seems so F up to me. The cheater-wife can accuse you of anything and even if she fails she will get away with it, and automatically granted custody. The guy in this story is a lucky case because she told him so he had the time to prepare. If a wife ever makes a threat about your custody and assets, that can be translated to that she won't give a f about you and will 100% kick you off the cliff, she's not your wife anymore, she's an enemy that threatens your life.

I disagree with those (if there are any) who think it was "unfair" for OP to tell his daughters that their mother wants to sleep with other men and she wants her husband, their father, to KNOW she's sleeping with other men, and she knows that he won't like if she does that. I just know that children learn of "marriage" from an early age, and it's important to keep what they have picked up that is accurate, apply to THEIR marriage(s) because their parent's marriage conformed with expectations.
I think that other than them understanding that Mom wants to sleep with men other than her husband, that they also hear that their mother, from her own mouth, is threatening to keep them from him if he doesn't go along with it and divorces her. Using them as leverage and keeping them from their Dad. That's just cold. No wonder they ditched her.

It seems that women run their mouth so much and mean none of it that when a man says "no and I will leave you if you do" they just figure he's running his mouth like they do and doesn't mean it. Unfortunately the only way you can convince her you are serious is to divorce her. And then it's too late.
That's why setting boundaries and ENFORCING them early is key.

I don't see anything wrong with Dancing with other people if you're both there and you see what's going on and you know that all it is is dancing benefits with the intent of going further there's definitely an issue I guess it depends on how much you love each other and how much you trust each other like my dad and my stepmom they loved each other so much that if one dance with somebody they wouldn't be jealous because they knew they loved one another that much they were married for I think 60 some odd years she just passed in her nineties
This same theme has been rehashed over and over and over in these fake stories as we all know. One thing I suggest is that you change the point where the husband draws a line at actual intercourse. In ballroom dance, it's not just common, it's nearly universal to dance with all of the members of the opposite sex. But, tbf, ballroom isn't all that sexy. Woman's right hand in man's left, woman's left arm on man's right. It's not like there's grinding all up and down each other. Tango is really the only dance that has much body contact - upper right thigh to upper right thigh - but it's kinda difficult to lead that way.

There are more and more women's magazines with articles about"ethical non-monogamy" coming out. There are RUclips channels advocating this "lifestyle". There are many prominent psychologists or psychotherapists that are advocating this. They conclude that this is evolutionary biology based on observations of different animals, such as lions. They are grossly ignorant of the differences between human biology and animal biology.
For example when a woman gives birth to a male that son's DNA remains in her body for 27 years. What they also ignore about human biology is "pair bonding". Modern psychology tries to sweep it under the rug as something that does not exist. They are clueless or willfully ignorant to the biology involved. They acknowledge breastfeeding boosts the immunity of a baby. They know more than just milk and nutrients but they don't understand that hormones created in the mother's brain are also passed to the baby creating bonding.
How many women are going through the problems of postpartum depression and just not able to connect with their babies? Is it possible that their brains are literally broken unable to create the bonding hormones they should that would also ease their depression symptoms?
The reality is every time a woman comes into contact with the sexual fluids of a man it is literally absorbed into her body and bloodstream and going to the brain. Every single time her body absorbs a man's fluids her blood chemistry is actually changed. Her body actually creates antibodies in her blood. These antibodies are created from the sperm that she has absorbed. Her body does this to prevent pregnancy. It is sad that so many of these girls are sharing their fertility problems and journeys on RUclips tick tock Facebook and wherever else. It just makes me wonder how many partners did she have before she finally chose the man she married. So yes I wonder what the correlation between women with a high number of sexual partners and fertility issues postpartum depression and lack of bonding between mother and child?
