It feels like we did this on Tuesday against the Reds. Only positive is that we didn't get shut out. A split series is better than a lost series, but the bats were lack luster today, and you can't hold it down when they get on base so much. There's your first full week of June, and we're 8.5 games back from the Wild Card. It's not unrealistic if this team can stay disciplined, we've seen what these guys can do. Then again, it's only wishful thinking if pitching continues to be subpar in the later half of the game. We had to deal with that a lot this week. Welcome to the bigs, Adael! Congrats on your first hit (and props to the Cards fans for being good sports), hope to see you shine while Brenden rests up. Up north, to Minnesota we head next. Dakota's first this week, bring 'em your best. Sell the team. Go Rockies💜🖤
@@thomasthomasthomas296 Makes sense to me, but more so in hindsight. What certainly wasn't working was an ability to show up on the spot with command. As a starter, he can indeed warm into it, though he'll be prone to bad first innings, but that would make him far from alone.
THOSE LOVABLE LOSERS! THE COLORADO ROCKIES! AT LEAST THE ROCKIES DIDN'T LOSE A SERIES, FOR ONCE! HA! 19 GAMES UNDER .500! GETTING PAID MILLIONS TO PLAY TERRIBLE! LIVING THE DREAM! the dj
Cant believe we split this series with the Rockies but it is what it is. Happy we got the W this time
Much better Cardinals, keep the winning streak going
Good game Cards.⚾
"Now batting for Colorado, at the bottom of the lineup in the #8 hole...Ezequiel Tovar. Tovar the Eighth Man"🤣🤣
What we needed. GO CARDS
We need more than that.
We need more than that.
@@jangle2964 true, but we are doing better than last season

Finally, Pages, a Cardinal who knows how to hit with a man on third and less than two out.
Cool, there's still hope for Pallante yet.
i always thought his stuff was better suited as a starter
