@vlorschbuug A rotary phone dial is basically a switch that is normally closed. When you turn the dial and release, a spinning cam opens and closes the switch. That's how the old analog phone system knew the number you dialed by the number of pulses from the switch. You dial 9 and it opens and closes the switch 9 times. I'm just sending my output through that switch.

hands down the coolest musical instrument.
@platinum5168 it chops up the output signal. If you turn up the volume it is easier to see/hear the effect (@ 0:24).
