    been doing this hardcore for 3 years now and just can't break through - i've paid for courses, paid for shop reviews and it just doesn't matter. I do have sales and make around 30k/year in profit but that's not near enough to live off for me. I love hearing these stories but they also break my heart because I don't know why it can't be me too. I binge watch POD youtubers, apply everything I learn, do research using eRank, purchase high quality mock ups, etc...I've done it all. I'm also putting full time hours into this. I'll keep trying, but starting to lose steam. Thanks for all you do, Cassiy

      Trying creating more similar designs and similar niches to get higher ranking in those areas

      There's one thing that will break you through to the next level. it's not a knowledge or a course or anything like that. It's more listings. Have 100 listings? Make 1000. Have 1000 listings? Make 10000. Volume, volume, volume.

      Can you give me some tips? I have about 580 listings. I’m running ads, do SEO research and all of that. I’m in a variety of niches. How can I break through? And start getting consistent sales? 30 K a year would be life changing. I’m a student.

      I also have heavily personalized branding for my specific shop, and a small loyal customer base. I also have 20 reviews all of which are five stars. 106 sales.

      I’m in the same boat but I have a graphic design background and I’m starting to think that my designs might be “too designed” for the Etsy audience. I think that audience likes designs that are far simpler than what I’m creating. So I’m going to try to create designs that are more basic.

    Thank you for the video. I learn better from examples so hearing you talk about finding trending design styles then adding the trend to a niche for an upcoming holiday really helped me.

    Quick question for you, Cassiy. Is your POD Roadmap a one time enrollment? Or is the fee something you pay yearly? Thanks!

    • @CassiyJohnson
      @CassiyJohnson  День назад +2

      It’s a one time payment for lifetime access! Or you can take the payment plan but either way it’s not a yearly charge ❤️

    hello, just one question does all the money go into his pocket or is it like in France there are taxes and ursaff?? ursaff takes 12.3% of our turnover and we have to pay that every quarter ...Is it the same for the United States too?.

    But what company does she use to POD? Because with printify is not as cheap anymore even with their discount memebership

    • @CassiyJohnson
      @CassiyJohnson  2 дня назад +2

      She uses Printify for all of her products! In Etsy you don’t need to be the cheapest item out there to make sales, you can make 20%-30% profit on each sale no problem as long as you are making great designs that add value to the search results!

    I have my shop since end of semester. Made just 25 sales.
    Some of them happened in a row(6 for 2-3 days), and then no activity at all.
    Second time the same, same product, 2 days of activity and again 15-30 views for the day.for all shop. Using high research tags and keywords with low completion. And it is still no result.

    Not to sidetrack from this great video, but cassiy, what the hell is going on with creative fabrica???!!! I'm afraid to use them now. Starla Moore put out a video that an artist sued 2 Etsy sellers and they had to pay out money that to me, was too much

    • @surgicaltechcrafter2169
      @surgicaltechcrafter2169 2 дня назад

      I saw that and I commented on that video and no response. I feel like People are not understanding that you have to change the original design to make it your own and I think the other problem is people do not understand that Name brands, copyrighted/ trademarked stuff can not be resold even if you alter it. Creative Fabrica may have the commercial use License but Customers do not, those are for personal use. If ANYONE wants to sell a trademarked or copyrighted item you need your OWN commercial license.

    • @CassiyJohnson
      @CassiyJohnson  День назад +2

      Hey here are my thoughts!
      1. Creative Fabrica is a third party site just like Etsy for sellers to sell on, they do not actually make anything themselves. - So it makes sense that they are not responsible if a seller gets sued
      2. You should not use CF pre made designs in your store because 1. it's against Etsy's handmade policy that states that you need to make the designs you sell and 2. You never know if that seller stole it and uploaded it to CF (Which it sounds like from the video to me that this was the issue, sellers uploading premade designs and not making changes to them)
      3. This all above goes for getting graphics anywhere like Etsy etc.
      4. I will still continue to use CF in the future especially for fonts still. I recommend to use it safely 1. Only downloading graphics to use in your designs, not fully made designs 2. Looking at the sellers store on CF to see if it looks like they actually made the graphics, typically you can tell if they all look the same or if it's a hodge podge of random files
      If you don't want to worry about accidentally using stolen graphics, then you can absolutely skip out on using CF all together and check out using AI to create your own instead!

      @SpeedbirdHeavy День назад

      @surgicaltechcrafter2169 your remarks are correct but not applicable to the cases Starla highlighted. The two people being sued had not failed to edit a CF design, nor had they knowingly purchased a trademarked item. They bought a font, in good faith that the seller was the creator and that the commercial licence covered them for POD. It would not occur to most buyers that the seller of this font was neither the creator nor the rights owner. I feel sorry for the buyers and can't understand why they were targeted by the lawyers and not the seller thief who stole their client's work. CF's licensing terms are, in any case, complex and carry too many risks for me ever to consider buying from them.
