The police station was the first base I ever used (not including the starter base). For that reason it holds a special place in my heart. That being said… it is a terrible base and I have never used it since.
@@SheedRanko I agree. The mall is probably the best large base in the game. Only one that might be better or just as good in my opinion is the farm on Trumbull valley.
i like police station. I have my "Roleplay" Community, called "Peacekeepers". All my survivors wear black military clothes with helmets and caps, like SWAT units. Everyone has either AR-15 semi-automatic, MP5, or pump-action shotguns. Police batons and sledgehammers as melee weapons. Police cars, Vandito and red talon colored Pilato CR as vehicles. It's pretty fun. AI is horrible with shotguns. But when you dealing with hordes - flashbangs and shotguns are just amazing
You summarised perfectly why I do not play Lethal - it is just not fun. You can't use firearm because even silenced one is super loud, the game spawns never ending stream of zombies out of thin air and the zombies are constanlty screaming to bring even more of them. Not to mention it takes forever to get the resources to fully upgrade your base. It is too slow, too frustrating, your options to play the game are severely limited and feels like never-ending trolling on the game's end. That combined with the game being extremely clunky with the melee and the constant terrain glitching that can get you killed - I just can't be asked to ever touch Lethal. It is just too stressful and not fun at all to play for me.
My answer is one level down with mods, such as enabling every freak type with increased spawn sizes for hordes and infestations as well as a touch more spawns added to screamer screaming. Some work setting it up but I found the fun vs danger balance just right.
Grind through it my guy. The stress levels you up as a gamer. I can sprint through lethal with just a knife at this point. It's worth the own pride it creates in you.
I react with the exact same reaction of you on the White Noise Machine @12:55 lol Sooo good to able to find it especially for the Forever community~ 😍😍 And I completely agree with you on having fun to restrict yourself until a super strong community is established.
Marathon/discipline/close combat is my plague heart killing combo. Sprinting around for free with a backpack full of c4 is really enjoyable for me. Then I do cleanup with a backpacking/resourceful character.
The core of this game is base and community management. Which is why I play it. If you only care to kill zombies than I recommend to play standard zone or play Cod coldwar zombies. Cheers.
You're so right about the lethal gun play. If it doesn't have a silencer literally don't even bother. I just use a heavy weapon and a door frame so they can't attack from behind but yeah never to full auto on lethal, just is never worth it
The best way to pay for ammo in lethal zone is the ammo option in the storage. I forget who did it but there's a chart out there proving it's the most efficient way to get ammo compare to any other option to get ammo.
I found the Strip Mall to be great for me due to the moral boosts and the health boost from the Dojo, but it’s biggest quality has to be the layout. Aesthetics are as important as build options to me and the indoor slots just fit nicely within the rooms of the Strip Mall. While I’d like to always have the Trade Depot it doesn’t really matter to me once settled, so my 3 large slots would have to be the Lounge, Haven Device and the large Medical Facility for that sweet 100% immunity to injuries and plague when combined with the built-in medical facility. With the Shooting Range boosting Stamina and the Landmark Outpost boosting Health, combined with the health boost and immunities from the medical facilities your survivors are essentially in god-mode for the low price of 4 meds daily.
Well Mr Fox I for one luv being back at home when it's pitch black UL levels of night time , LOL, so base Defense is high on my list but I do agree with bullet usage costs and have being move to more of crossbow and side arms weaponry loadouts; thus I thought you were going to compare bolts crafting costs in materials vs the cost of ammo into bullets. 📝🤔 thanks for the content sir🍸👍🏾
If you don't like going out at night, an alternative is to just crash at your outpost. The safe area ought to protect you while also preventing you from endangering your base.
Those Ferals at the Zed Thumpers' base were obvious not of the Skintanius bloodline. Legends say that he will rise to challenge the Super Waifu Cafeteria Squad when they least expect it!
I never understood why undead labs has built In Facilities that cant be torn down. You should have the option to keep it or remove it. It would also add the dilemma of removing a facility that you can't put back up or leaving it in. That would be a good change. I would use more of the bases on every map. Also the trumble valley shotgun has a built In Silencer
Speaking of base defense, has the fire station glitch been fixed yet? Maybe it's me but since I have moved into the firestation, nobody has been up on the roof as a guard. Everyone is armed with various ranged weapons but nobody goes up to the roof to keep watch. It was okay before but this has been going on for months now.
This bug and many more problems that haven't been fixed and the new infestation system is why I uninstalled the game, I really liked it, but I am done with it, I'll wait and see what they do with SoD3.......
I have failed Lethal zone multiple times even from using a full community from a lower difficulty they got wipped by Blood ferals and Juggernauts But I enjoy watching you play it
most importantly are we ever going to find out if that girl escaped a red talon work camp or did she make it up or was it jerks just saying they were red talon i wanna know lol
The lethal difficultly is so unbalanced, that you either use exploits or don't even bother with it. There is no versatility with builds, you only use heavy weapons, because they are the best way to deal with plague hearts, and exploits the rear of the car to run over zombies or pyro launcher. You can't shoot the guns, because one shot with a shotgun, spams 5 screamers and 3 ferals.
I know how much ammo is in a rucksack. 5 ammo per press is only 1 ammo off of a full rucksack. It's not unreasonable to consider 5 ammo = to 1 rucksack of ammo.
I think the Lethal Zone is perfect for those popular streamers of SOD2 content because this is who the Lethal Zone was made for. Nightmare got too easy for them and content started to become a little too thin. Lethal brought in a way for these streamers to be able to bring in new content. Average players are right to complain about Lethal because it is ludicrous, ridiculous and over the top. Every other part of the game has been changed, including the zombies and freaks abilities to endanger the survivors, but the survivors abilities to counteract has always been the same since release. Lethal should have introduced better skills to the survivors to make it a little more balanced. Even on lower difficulties, the zombies are empowered with ninja reflexes and moves, so giving better skills to survivors should be something the devs need to think about before they stop supporting the game.
One thing I DO like about Lethal Zone is that it means people are always watching my content because they want to learn. Lethal Zone is great for the Fox Republic.
I think the ammo in the police station is good as you can craft the ammo instead of wasting time swapping the different ammo presses around on a workshop. If you build a large facility that can have the 5.5 & 7 rounds, you've got access to 5 different types of bullets from 2 facilities. I enjoy using this Base on a setting lower than nightmare. Location is quite nice too, being at the top/centre of the map. Decent parking out front too 👍 not my favourite on this map but still, decent Base 👌
I don't really see that as a waste of time since you don't have have unlimited ammo. You will run out of ammo to make into bullets, and that gives you plenty of time to switch ammo presses. You'd probably also stockpile the bullets. For example, instead of making 50 shotgun shells, you'd probably build 400 shells then move onto a different ammo type.
I don't use guns because they're bad. I already played Lethal Zone without the pyrolauncher or reversing into zombies. I didn't use guns. Why? Guns are bad.

I would have gone with it mire if the armory had more utility. If ut could function as a full workshop or you could make all types of ammo.

On Lethal this base is also a bit of a deathtrap for your community AI, if you have a loud base for sieges fighting Jugs in close quarters is scary.

I don’t start shooting on Lethal until I have at least one of each outpost. Crossbow champion and use breaks and heavy weapons on Plague Hearts.
I like the police station. The thing I dislike about the Camp is it's incredibly dark, even with electricity.

You gotta use overpowered strategies like the Impaler.
@@GitGudFox how do you get the impaler
2 choices.
1) upgrade a Legendere vehicle
2) Use a radio command for the Ultimate Vehicle delivery
I think they can add more building slots
do you think that endurance is good for anything besides heavy weapons
If you are going to fight hostile humans, it gives you the best chances of surviving gun injuries.
