    Great video. I use mastercam and use dynamic as much as possible with hem cutters. Sometimes i use dynamic with high feeds, im aware of cutting air, sometimes just cuts great when other conditions exist. When high feed milling i try to stick to simple contouring, area mill, helical ramping and pocketing with true spiral. Spiral does cut a little air if you are picking out corners but it is very smooth.

    I never take Spring Passes. It Dulls the Endmill.

    In a real cam system, IE: Siemens NX, you can define this tool exactly. No compromise

      The profiles and tool libraries for these are available on Helical's site, no defining needed. I was surprised to see this wasn't mentioned in the video.

      @@ugccrawl6850 You are correct, we do carry SIM Files ( DXF) for all of our tools that can be downloaded and used for programming. Great comment and insight UGC!

      NX is the best. Mastercam has a lot of problem with feed mill simulations.
