@@LivinginCincinnatiOhio Thanks!! 🤗 We have a small town feel to me! Cinci has always been my home, for 60 yrs. Came here age 2. Been in this area for around 25 yrs! It's home!
I have lived in almost all those places she mentioned in Cincinnati and I can say Wetherington in West Chester is the best place. 30 minute drive to Cincinnati
@@moa3008 1999 Tornado hit parts of Montgomery and Blue Ash. Last tornado to hit just a couple of years ago was out in Goshen. Thankfully, we don't see them often.
Just found this channel, love it already ! Live in Walnut Hills - thinking about moving to East Walnut Hills, North Avondale, or Mt Adams! Think you can do some videos on those ? :)
Welcome aboard! We have one on Mt Adams. I love North Avondale as well. I wonder how long it would take for them to boot me out with the camera...but I will try. All great options!
I love Walnut Hills…I lived there, on Cross St, when I was in my mid 20s - just off Victory Pkwy. I worked 2 blocks away in the Edgecliff building and walked to work in nice weather. I ice skated in Eden Park on my lunch hour. We lived in Loveland growing up, but went to church in Walnut Hills. I have so many fond memories of that area and Obryanville! Cincinnati has a lot of culture due to the wealth families like Proctor, Gamble, Emery and many more. My parents took us to All the cultural centers, music hall, art museum, zoo, playhouse in the park, Taft museum, and Mt Adams. The Queen City also has a baseball team, football team, soccer team, highly rated colleges…it is so much more than people realize. I lived in Seattle for a long while, but moved back “home” to Cincinnati.
Anderson Township should have made this list too - they have wealthy area there in league w/ Madeira and Mariemont. I do love Mariemont so much though due its homey-cozy nostalgic feel/vibe. Great restaurant I love there - Quarter Bistro. Great food and ambiance too but too pricey. Still, love the little area out front w/the fountain and courtyard. Very charming place.
@kaitlynkarol4600 Anderson and the East side has some amazing places. I believe it's an average or median income so Anderson probably has a wider range of incomes than some of the other areas which was why it wasn't included? That's my guess. I do appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment!
I was born in Mariemont…a wonderful neighborhood born from the design of Mary Emery. She was also a huge donor for the arts. She actually gave the grant in the early 1900s that allowed the Art museum to be free on Saturdays. We weren’t wealthy…but my parents exposed us to culture. They would take me to the art museum any Saturday I asked. Once I learned to drive I went every Saturday…I became an artist 😊 Thank you Mary Emery 🩷
@@LivinginCincinnatiOhio - Thanks for replying to me too! I will be starting a YT channel soon myself and will be doing home decor and the like. I am an indie journalist. @@emmar3035 That's amazing! Thank you for sharing. I learned about Mary Emery of Emery Theater on our Haunted walk through OTR with American Legacy. The Emery family made their money in the candle-making business. It's really amazing how big of a mark they (mostly Mary) left on this city.
If you just drive through you miss all the great people and opportunities here. Maybe next time you’ll stop and at least have a beer or some graeters ice cream. 🍦 😉
That's disappointing to hear. I know taxes went up exponentially in Hamilton and Butler at the beginning of 2024. There are programs to help those struggling with paying, but they are very limited in who they will assist.

Sycamore does have a little higher property taxes due to the levy that passed a few years ago. Still a beautiful area, but yes, if taxes are something you don't like, Indian Hill has the lowest in the area.
Indian Hill used to impress me until I moved to Naples Florida.
Thank you for sharing. I've never been, but I believe you.
Thanks mam most important points explain
Most welcome 😊
Another wonderful neighborhood is Deer Park…very large charming houses.
Are you talking about the Deer Park in Cincinnati?
@LivinginCincinnatiOhio yes!
I love Terrace Park 💕🩷 Friends of my parent lived there.
It is really nice. Thanks so much for watching!
Nice video, you should drive west of I75 once in a while though...
I'm honestly there a couple of times per week. I'm sorry that none of the neighborhoods there made the list.
Beautiful Neighborhoods 🎉
Thanks for watching! There are definitely some nice spots here.
I'm surprised Amberley village isn't on the list. The locals always talked about it as a high income area in the early 2000s.
